So first tank done in this Ultramarine Tank squad commision. Note that there is scriptures on the missiles but in the picture it does look a bit funny.

This commision will be a total of 7 tanks

1 whirlwind/razorback

2 Razorback

1 Predator

1 Landraider redeemer/crusader

1 Marneus Calgar Landraider

Plus may be 2 new Forgeworld storm Eagle Gunships

Left to Right:

Leader (with his dog), Demolition, Marshal, Jaguar, Sniper, Heavy Gunner

Comprising what's left of Texas and Mexico and having the most limited budget of all factions in the game fluff, the Texico squad looks the most nomadic with a wide mix of armor styles. However, their strength lies in laying traps and focusing their fire on one target at a time, stacking bonuses to hit. The Marshal also gets to put a bounty out on an opponent's figure.

This squad turned out very close to the Mercs concept art, except the Jaguar who has a replacement helmet and a small cape sculpted from greenstuff. The Demolition was also reposed slightly.

The chaos lord from the Dark Vengeance box, with some minor conversion work (plasma pistol swapped for a chaos marine bolt pistol w/ some greenstuff mutation). Painted up in the colors of the Black Legion. Daemonette Hide & Slaaneshi purple used in the soft armor, Slaaneshi purple also used as final highlight on mutated flesh & black armor edge highlighting. Lots of use of washes.

Little rhino ive made to show case extrem weathering.

I scratch-sculpted this figure over a chassis built from a Reaper Bones ogre and he's meant to be part of a group with the Otherworld one. The Bones material is easy to cut, and so it was easy to quarter and reassemble the limbs from the ogre to make the trunk for this giant. But despite saving me having to sculpt the hands and feet I wish I had just gone all out and sculpted the thing entirely. The ogre sculpt had really poor proportions (one leg considerably taller than the other and some other wonkiness) and the Bones material is overly soft (even compared with other PVC figures like D&D prepaints) and poorly suited to hold detail or take paint. Had I done it entirely in greenstuff maybe I could have shopped it around and got it cast. Maybe next time. Sculpted in 2013-2014 and painted in 2014.

Qingjing Farm is located in Nantow precinct, it was established on February 20th, 1961.

Reflection og Garðskaga viti (Light House)

in the see with little green seaweed in forground :)

With simple headswap from plastic Chaos Terminator and some greenstuff. The skin was great fun to paint, finding out not just a way to make it look decidedly unhealthy, but also melded to the armour of his body. Solution was a clever use of Washes and bright silver.

St John and a further 98 holy fathers travelled in Egypt, Cyprus and Turkey, before sailing to Crete (99 in all, sometimes referred to as the 99 Martyrs). When John was left behind on an island by mistake, he adapted his tunic as a sail and joined his colleagues.

After the community lived together in a cave for a time, John retired to the life of a hermit. Whilst crawling on all fours gathering 'horta' (wild greenstuffs), he was mistaken for a wild animal and shot by a farmer. John later absolved the archer. He died in his cave retreat.

These episodes from his life are shown in this ikon which is signed by the artist, Jeremiah Palladas.

First custom, it is Ronan from Dawngate! Please be gentle, it is my first experience with paint and GREENSTUFF.

A Ultramarine predator tank ive made for my big tank commision.

I know that ultramarines shouldnt have a tank in this state but it was to the request of my client.

this thank is fully magnetized so you can use all the weapons avalible.

Converted skaven gutter runners made using the the plastic clanrat/slaves, the skavenslave sling upgrade kit, some extra swords and a bit of greenstuff.

Gruppenausstellung von sieben Künstlern.

Greenstuff. group exhibition with seven artists starting today at the Old Jailhouse in Freising

Another addition to my growing Khorne daemontide. Everyone's favorite three-headed hound, also my first ever actually good finecast model - no greenstuffing required.

The cloak is a very simple greenstuff sculpt, as are the impurity seals bolted to his armour.

The first Word Bearer Chaos Space Marine model troop model finished. He was the "test" model, there's another 29 marines that I'm batch painting to this level. It's a long process, but they'll look great when they're charging across the table!

The "ram's horn" effect was created by painting the horn Dehneb Stone, followed by 2 liberal Badab Black washes (old ram horns are more black than brown). Finally a highlight of watered down bleached bone on the raised bits. Love it!

There's a bunch of Daemon units I've been working on to fill the ranks too. I've uploaded the Bloodletters and the Prince already, but there'll be more!

So a little test model i was messing with.

First of the five member of the Vanguard squad im doing for fun!

Scout sergeant with a power fist sculpted from greenstuff

So, this is my project of the last months, after I started painting and playing w40k back in november last year.

After building my first veterans and terminator squads, I thought about converting something and to learn the handling with green stuff (I love to have some unique heroes in my army).

After hours of choosing parts and rearranging the pose and changing details, I was happy with the result, modeled and casted the tabard and all purity seals completely out of greenstuff.

Usualy the chaplains wear black armour, but to fit him to my existing terminators i've painted him graveyard earth and applied some layers of badab black wash, to make him outstanding with a little bit darker armour then the squad.

The base is build from some sprue left overs, skulls and the stone is actually bark mulch painted chaos black and dry brushed over with codex grey and skull white.

more photos of him, maybe with the squad, will come when my camera is repaired.

tips and tricks to improve my painting skills are allways welcome, I'm still beginner in these things.

this is a plant, the plant is located on a wall, the end.

finally finished! So here we have a Voltron themed dreadkingh. This model was quite modified. First the legs and knees were repositioned to make them look more dynamic and give the impression he was jumping or about to jump, then i have to refit the arms and arms boosters to reflect the legs and their position. A refitted banner was made to give a robe like look and a green stuff scroll was sculpted to to the same in the front. With this paint job i really wanted to go with a really battle worn look. Lastly we have the base that was all custom sculpted using Modeling clay then green stuff.

Grotesque, a.k.a Clayface

Island of Blood Rat Ogre body

This one i had to grind off most the armour, then greenstuff all the skin detail on, the arm was cut off at the elbow, the straightened out, sprue cut-off spikes where added on to the end to make a mace like fist

First try at painting a Games Workshop Chaos Warrior miniature.

Some minor sculpting with Green Stuff, painted with Citadel paints.

(June 2010)

My desicrated dreadknight (forgefiend), It's a kit bash that contains a dreadknight, a demon prince, a forgefiend, and a bit or two from the chaos space marine sprue. And LOTS of greenstuff.

A resculpt of Mephiston for a client. The model is based on the original Jes Goodwin sculpt, but the only original part is the sword. The right arm is from a plastic Chaos marine, the right shoulder pad from a metal Astorath. The left shoulder pad from the Sanguinary Guard set, and the backpack from Death company. The cloak was smoothed with Liquid Greenstuff, which is about the best surfacing putty I've used. Everything else is scratch sculpted. Lots of fun.

I don't know what greenstuffs are, but I wouldn't order them at this restaurant. This restaurant is by my new apartment.

Left to Right:

Auto Turret, Booster, Wavefinder, Heavy, Leader, Calypso, Sniper

Mercs' greece army that controls the world's oceans and monitors all shipping lanes. These guys excel in short range (but not melee) combat, with a Heavy carrying a lightning thrower and fully enclosed armor for improved flank and rear protection.

I based this paint scheme off the mercs concept art, but I made the armor sections brighter and metallic silver. The Booster also has a replacement head sculpted from greenstuff, because I didn't like his original open-face helmet.

The squad consist of Forgeworld, Games Workshop, and Greenstuff.

I think Grey Knight helms make fantastic Chaos helms if you don't like horns.

So the line set by my client on this one was hell and back so i went for a very heavy weatering

enjoy

For my 40K Skaven - wanted the Rhino to give the impression these arrive into the battle from underground! At first, was going to use the Forgeworld Hades kit....then once I bought 2 of them saw how small they was! Never mind - all was good in the end - as the drill piece is awesome and those rear tracks will be used on either my Land Raider idea or my good old Orks.

The Havoc launcher had to be the warpfire thrower - just with some added greenstuff to show that he is fired his weapon.

Going to add the finishing touches too it ASAP - and going to also add this to a base that will fit the style of the rest of my army (old ruins) - this way if....sorry, when it gets destroyed in battle - I can leave behind the base to represent where it was.

Big Mek with a Kustom Force Field and Grot Oiler.

The Mek's body is from about 1993 (Bionik Boyz: Targeter Eye and Telescopic Legs).

The Kustom Force Field is a kit-bash from various sources, plus wire and greenstuff.

The Grot Oiler is also a kit-bash, with a vest scultped from green stuff.
