This model is very hard to do justice photo wise. I really tried my best but it still looks 10000 x better in real life
I think the Flamer nozzle is the only greenstuff I used on these models. Trying to copy the picture from the Codex Space Marine. These were my first attempt to paint non-metallic greens. The secret to all non-metallics is smooth transition of paint and pure Skull White on edging, still using control. There are 3 armour paint types. Here is the fire design. You can find the scale pattern armour on the sgt.
The Dawi Zharr, or Chaos Dwarves, are the evil cousins to the noble dwarves. They thrive in greed, tyranny, and fire.
This guy was inspired by artwork from several Warhammer sources.
Helmet: Lego gentleman’s top hat with greenstuff addons.
Axe: modified Crescent Axe from @brickwarriors
Shield and beard: all hand sculpted
Armor; Koruit dwarf armor with some kitbashed bits.

I did read the HH book where this fight happen 2 times just to put my self more in context and also to try and respect the fluff as much as i could. Some Loken vs Abaddon i saw painted were really nice but loads of things were wrong fluff wise and i really didn't want that to happen with this piece. Great attention was put in this model to make it as true to the fluff as possible, hence the fact that Loken is very dirty and gritty and Abaddon is all clean fresh from orbit. The base was also thought out since according to the book and viral bombing killed every living thing liquefying every living organism hence the gore and absence of any flora. I hope you guys like it!
My Custom lego avengers infinity war Iron Man and captain america minifigures.
On iron man the chest plate and shoulder armour was sculpted by me out of greenstuff clay and then painted by hand.
On Nomad the upper body, hair, beard, gauntlets and knee pads were sculpted from greenstuff and then hand painted.

A resculpt of Mephiston for a client. The model is based on the original Jes Goodwin sculpt, but the only original part is the sword. The right arm is from a plastic Chaos marine, the right shoulder pad from a metal Astorath. The left shoulder pad from the Sanguinary Guard set, and the backpack from Death company. The cloak was smoothed with Liquid Greenstuff, which is about the best surfacing putty I've used. Everything else is scratch sculpted. Lots of fun.
So the line set by my client on this one was hell and back so i went for a very heavy weatering

My first Salamander Tactical Squad. Kind of an experimental painting squad with minimal greenstuff. Please comment/ridicule what-ever is on your mind.
The chaos lord from the Dark Vengeance box, with some minor conversion work (plasma pistol swapped for a chaos marine bolt pistol w/ some greenstuff mutation). Painted up in the colors of the Black Legion. Daemonette Hide & Slaaneshi purple used in the soft armor, Slaaneshi purple also used as final highlight on mutated flesh & black armor edge highlighting. Lots of use of washes.

Qingjing Farm is located in Nantow precinct, it was established on February 20th, 1961. With the area about 700 hectares, it was established by the demobilized soldier counseling of the administrative division for settling the partisan cadre, family dependants, and the national armed forces demobilized soldier who placed in the battlefield during the early years. The farm is for agriculture development then. Qingjing Farm located in the place of Central Cross-Island Highway's center horizontal road first line #14 near the north end place of 08 kilometer. It is the place you will pass when you are heading to Hohuan Mountain, the center horizontal highroad's organized body branch.
Nowadays the Qingjing Farm follow the herbage rebirth of the seasonal changes in March, the garden turns green, the procreation of the cows and sheep. You will feel the luxuriant of the peach blossom, the pear bloom, and the apple bloom during the spring season in Qingjing Farm. April is the month for picking the spring tea. The digitalis bloomy with purple bright-red flowers is in the bucolic area. May is the season for the chrysanthemum in the bucolic area and the rhododendron bloom in the Hehuan Mountain. Besides the different views in spring and summer, the scenery during autumn and winter has other kinds of view in Qingjing Farm. You can watch maple in October in Qingjing Farm. The sounds of the stepping on the fallen maples are romantic. Another part, the local agrarian afford different kinds of peach in different seasons, such as the 20-century pear, the California plum, the kiwi, and the high-temperature greenstuffs. The high-temperature greenstuffs mean the vegetable that grew in the higher sea level area with the adaptable temperature between 13~24 degrees Celsius and the bearable cold season greenstuffs for long distance, such as green cabbage, sweet chili, and the peas in local.

This is what my workspace looks like while I remodel my room. Basically this and the fact that my fucking detail brush splayed are the reasons why I haven't posted any customs as of late.

This is Green Stuff -- it is the best Christmas goodie EVER. lol :P The bottom layer is not cake or brownies -- but closer to a cookie bottom.

Recipe:
GREEN STUFF
Base:
1 box devil's food cake mix
1 egg
1/3 C butter
Filling:
1 envelope plain gelatin
1/3 c boiling water
1 C butter
1 oz peppermint extract
green food color to liking
4-6 C powdered sugar
Topping:
1 1/2 C semi sweet chocolate chips
4 1/2 TBS butter
1. heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease 10x15 jelly roll pan (or glass cake pan (I use cake pan) as some jelly roll pans are very flat and short).
2. In large bowl blend base ingredients together with a mixer (or blender) till nice and crumbly. Press into pan firmly. Bake 10 minutes, then allow base to cool to room temperature. Use spatula, or other flat utensil to tap the base layer, so that it is even more flat and firm.
For Filling:
3. Bring water to a boil water, add boiling water to the gelatin in large mixing bowl. Stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
4.Add butter and powdered sugar mix well. Add peppermint and food coloring, mix together. Continue to add powdered sugar until you get your desired consistency, which would be better to be to thick than too thin.
5. Spread minty filling on top of the cooled chocolate base.
For top:
6. Melt chocolate and butter in microwave and stir until smooth. Pour over green stuff and spread evenly with a spoon.
7. Chill and cut (YUM)!
If your house is warm you'll need to put this in the refrigerator to cool; though it can be eaten warm, it is just messier when eaten warm.

I'm really not sure what to call this guy. The hair was inspired by one of Geoshift's figs and the silencers are both removable. Also, his vest and the 40mm shell are my first succesful sculpts with Greenstuff. Man that stuff is a pain. It's so sticky! Do you have any tips on how to get it to not be as sticky?

WW2 aerial combat influence on Star Wars couldn’t be better expressed than the Y-Wing Bombers making their attack runs through dense barrages of turbo laser flack from imperial battleships and stations.
Continuing my WW2 paint schemes for SW ships, this was a fun Independence Day weekend project converting a Hotwheels YWing (casted with some greenstuff and greenly additions) into an SBD Dauntless, one of the most iconic aircraft of the Pacific Campaign.

This is my version of a Salamander Sergeant. Nonstandard combi-flamer crafted by his own hands of course, with rear fed magazine. The base is suppose to represent a scene from the Armageddon campaign with a rotted steal legionnaire frozen in his last agonizing grip of death. The Legionnaire was made of part of a skeleton. Greenstuff was used for the tattered uniform and his mask and re-breather. I was trying to go for a newly arrived pristine Space Marine contrasted by the death and decay environment of a hive planet of Armageddon.
