Greenstuff tarp added to turret and balsa beam to support the barrel. I'll probably add more junk piled up on the deck and turret. I want it to look like it's been pushed in a corner and forgotten about

My wizard from the Collage of the Jade Order (Life). Classic model with a converted staff. Added some Greenstuff and put a animal skull and some leaf on there. To make it look like the trees grow around him.
This model is very hard to do justice photo wise. I really tried my best but it still looks 10000 x better in real life
This was a lot of fun to make and i am really pleased!
i extended the legs of the figure to make him slightly taller as you can see in the middle picture then i fully sculpted the whole figure and games console he is holding using greenstuff. after that i hand painted the figure
i am really pleased with how the figure turned out!

I did read the HH book where this fight happen 2 times just to put my self more in context and also to try and respect the fluff as much as i could. Some Loken vs Abaddon i saw painted were really nice but loads of things were wrong fluff wise and i really didn't want that to happen with this piece. Great attention was put in this model to make it as true to the fluff as possible, hence the fact that Loken is very dirty and gritty and Abaddon is all clean fresh from orbit. The base was also thought out since according to the book and viral bombing killed every living thing liquefying every living organism hence the gore and absence of any flora. I hope you guys like it!

QINGJING FARM
Qingjing Farm is located in Nantow precinct, it was established on February 20th, 1961. With the area about 700 hectares, it was established by the demobilized soldier counseling of the administrative division for settling the partisan cadre, family dependants, and the national armed forces demobilized soldier who placed in the battlefield during the early years. The farm is for agriculture development then. Qingjing Farm located in the place of Central Cross-Island Highway's center horizontal road first line #14 near the north end place of 08 kilometer. It is the place you will pass when you are heading to Hohuan Mountain, the center horizontal highroad's organized body branch.
Nowadays the Qingjing Farm follow the herbage rebirth of the seasonal changes in March, the garden turns green, the procreation of the cows and sheep. You will feel the luxuriant of the peach blossom, the pear bloom, and the apple bloom during the spring season in Qingjing Farm. April is the month for picking the spring tea. The digitalis bloomy with purple bright-red flowers is in the bucolic area. May is the season for the chrysanthemum in the bucolic area and the rhododendron bloom in the Hehuan Mountain. Besides the different views in spring and summer, the scenery during autumn and winter has other kinds of view in Qingjing Farm. You can watch maple in October in Qingjing Farm. The sounds of the stepping on the fallen maples are romantic. Another part, the local agrarian afford different kinds of peach in different seasons, such as the 20-century pear, the California plum, the kiwi, and the high-temperature greenstuffs. The high-temperature greenstuffs mean the vegetable that grew in the higher sea level area with the adaptable temperature between 13~24 degrees Celsius and the bearable cold season greenstuffs for long distance, such as green cabbage, sweet chili, and the peas in local.

Crispy oven baked kale sprinkled with sea salt, garlic powder, and chili flakes. Surprisingly tastes a little like potato chips!
still have little touch ups to do but its mostly done. since i ont have time to shoot pictures before it ships out i had to do them today.
The core body was a Dark Eldar Archon Finecast figure with some details shaved off or modified. The shoulder pads, fur pelt, knee pads and hair were sculpted from greenstuff as well as the Obsidian Orb which replaced the flaming pyramid in the right hand of the Finecast figure. The head is a High Elf Dragon Prince Helmet with the front detail shaved and sculpted to match a Dark Eldar Aesthetic and the back banner is from a Dark Elf Corsair banner. Several small gemstones were shaved off assorted High Elf bits and added all over Vect, including on the gloves, front helmet and shoulder pads.
The staff arm started off as a Dark Eldar pike arm rom the Raider crew, but the glove was sculpted to match the Archon glove on the right hand. The staff itself is comprised bits of several High Elf Mage staff pieces as well as some Dark Eldar vehicle blades.
The base is mostly sculpted from greenstuff with the exception of the face itself which is from a Scibor basing kit and the side of the helmet fin which was a rudder from a Dark Eldar Raider.
The chaos lord from the Dark Vengeance box, with some minor conversion work (plasma pistol swapped for a chaos marine bolt pistol w/ some greenstuff mutation). Painted up in the colors of the Black Legion. Daemonette Hide & Slaaneshi purple used in the soft armor, Slaaneshi purple also used as final highlight on mutated flesh & black armor edge highlighting. Lots of use of washes.

Drossel is quite popular, primarily because of the strength of her design I think. The animated series she's in (Fireball) is rather strange.
The MicroMan (MicroSister) is quite easy to pose, although with that many joints she's also easy to break. I got it quite cheap. There are much better MicroSister designs out there. I'm tempted to customize the figure with paints and GreenStuff.
I'm not sure what the formal term for this thing is. Maybe Resistor Ladder or Voltage divider. It's just a series of 220Ω resistors, so pushing button 3 connects 3*220Ω to the OUT rail. There's also a socket for a "base" resistor (pulldown?) which is 1MΩ here.
I used SMD 2-leg buttons because the ones with legs fit poorly into perfboard. I held them into place while soldering by using greenstuff (a dot underneath).
This type of device is useful when conserving pins on an MCU (1 analog pin instead of 8 digital). By reading the resistance, the MCU can figure out which button was pressed. Because the current takes the path of least resistance, only one button can be read, but there might be ways around this...?
Shrink tubes on helping hands makes their bite softer. I need to get some proper tentacle arms though.
All the Scouts have greenstuff added to their backs to sheath/holster their extra combat blades, which the Carcharodons are known for. The decals on the shoulder armour are from Forgeworld decal sheet. You can also see a better look of the poor unarmed hive custodian that was quickly neutralized of any minute threat he could have possessed.
This is Yotsuba. She's the main character of one of my favorite mangas, "Yotsuba&!" by Kiyohiko Azuma.
The hair is sculpted out of greenstuff and it wasn't necessary to paint it because her hair needs to be green :)
To paint the other parts I used Revell Aqua Colors. It's the first time I painted a whole face but I'm happy with how it turned out. I also shortened the legs to make her smaller.

Here I'm filling the fuselage-wing joint, after putting the glossy white on the fuselage top. My recipe for painting natural metal + paint finishes is to put on all the paint first and do the natural metal last, so I don't have to mask over it. Minicraft thoughtfully provide recessed airfoil shapes for the wing roots to plug into, rather than a stub that sticks out or a flat side to try to glue tight to. Its a good system and it makes a nice model. If I ever do this kit again, I might try styrene strip filler.
I hit on the slurry after one too many times of applying Green Stuff over the toxic Testors Liquid Cement in the hope the dumb filler would really stick to the underlying plastic... Kinda sort worked a bit... So then I tried diluting the putty with the liquid cement and it was a sticky nightmare, not so thin, not so easy to use. Gooey. So out comes the Aero Gloss Dope thinner, and bingo! It thins the putty to thick paint consistency. Now I take a short, chisel shaped brush and I can spooge the putty slurry into the recesses between wing and fuselage. And its not terribly thick. No shrinking, no cracking, no falling off. Built it up layer by layer, and it can be sanded smoooooth. If not mixed really smoothly, the solvent will leave pores in the filer. Liquid cement or another coat fill the pores just fine. Good stuff. I like it.
You can see the wing stringers I made-up and put inside the nacelle landing gear bays, and the cutouts for the main gear legs that I added at the aft edge of the gear bays.
I'd built the wings, filled, sanded, buffed out, and then sprayed Metalizer over them and the Metalizer showed all kinds of mistakes, holidays, falsehoods and misrepresentations... Soooo,
after I glued wing to fuselage, and filled the joint. I filled more stuff on the wings, sanded and buffed again, and shot the second try at Metalizer... (Buffing Aluminum in a rattle can)

I have decided to go with a scenic base that I had from Armorcast, which I think it really goes well with the archaic industrial feeling of the model. The banner is scratchbuilt from greenstuff and completely freehand.
