I took this photo in Singapore last year and have just come across it again whilst clearing out some old photos. Apparently the authorities there are trying to make Singapore a green, carbon neutral city. I like the curved structure accentuated by the greenery.
Revelation 9:4 “And they were told not to harm the grass on earth, or any greenery, or any tree, but only those people who did not have God's seal on their foreheads.”
Beautiful bridge at Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden, Portland.
I was late for the flowers blooming :-( but still I loved this place.
I saw photos in Fall and it is so beautiful too. I will come back!
Lake Superior & Ishpeming 3073 and a mismatched green sister unit pull a train of ore jennies north through Eagle Mills Junction. The mismatched C30-7/U30C set ran on the 3 Tilden almost daily during my visit, this being the only run on the 7 Tilden. 2021 is likely the last fall the greens will see, the 3074 being the first to go due to an engine failure in August. With new AC44s en-route in first quarter, I'd be surprised if the remaining old GE's stick around.
In the Goethehof, a municiapal residential complex with 677 apartments in Kaisermühlen, a neighbourhood of Donaustadt, the 22nd district of Vienna. It was built in the years 1929–1930.
Goethehof is a so-called Gemeindebau, which is the German word for "municipality building" (pl. Gemeindebauten).
You can find more information about this and other Gemeindebauten under the attached pictures.
Gardens by the Bay is a nature park spanning 101 hectares (250 acres) of reclaimed land in the Central Region of Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden (in Marina South), Bay East Garden (in Marina East) and Bay Central Garden (in Downtown Core and Kallang). The largest of the gardens is Bay South Garden at 54 hectares (130 acres). Its Flower Dome is the largest glass greenhouse in the world.
Gardens by the Bay is part of the nation's plans to transform its "Garden City" to a "City in a Garden", with the aim of raising the quality of life by enhancing greenery and flora in the city. First announced by the Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong, at the National Day Rally in 2005, Gardens by the Bay was intended to be Singapore's premier urban outdoor recreation space, and a national icon.
Being one of the popular tourist attractions in Singapore, the park received 6.4 million visitors in 2014, while topping its 20 millionth visitor mark in November 2015.
All greenery will perish
the writing voice said
as always relentless.
But it is also true that any new greenery could not exist
if the green perished had not completed its cycle.
Hence our greenery
that a little strange conjunction of your spring and my autumn surely reverberates in others
teach others
help others to rescue their greenery.
Because
although the scriptures do not say
all greenery will be reborn.

This started with an original photo of some leafy plants I was trying to identify. I sent that through the WOMBO dream AI and got a very noisy output. I retouched, upscaled and repainted and this is the result.
I took this photo last weekend when I looked for snowdrops in a local park and suddenly noticed how lovely the evergreen plants were and how pretty the tiny dew drops looked when they were sparkling in the sunshine.
Various plants in the arboretum in Rogów. It's nice to walk there among this greenery :)
The Rogów Arboretum, established in 1925, is the Station of Protection and Shaping of Forest Ecosystems. It covers an area of 54 ha and is of an exceptional character as compared with other centers of the type in Poland or Europe, because it has been built from the very beginning as a research – didactic object and, moreover, it was located in the forest and has been tightly connected with the forest experimental study from the moment of its origin. The Arboretum consists of three basic parts: the dendrological collections (about 22 ha), the forest experimental plots (about 18 ha) and the alpine garden (1.5 ha).
The dendrological collections that is tree and shrub individuals planted either separately or in groups or small area forms, are mainly concentrated in the central and southern part of the Arboretum, covering a total of 2350 species and varieties. The Arboretum’s specialty is its collection of maples and shrubs from China. This segment is managed naturally, having the look of more a forest park than a typical botanical garden. The trees give the shelter and the proper microclimate for the introduced trees and shrubs.

W rogowskim alpinarium można obejrzeć ponad 400 gatunków i odmian roślin, pochodzących z gór całego świata. W większości są to byliny, ale nie tylko. Rosną tu także krzewy i drzewa terenów górzystych, np. majestatyczne świerki serbskie, kształtne limby czy srebrzyste jodły kalifornijskie.
