A light morning mist took the edge off the morning suns' harsh light and allowed the lush spring greenery to fill the air with its colour. A moment from one of the most wonderful spots in Barnes's Grove, Buckinghamshire.
Not only was the forest floor replete with wildflowers, but the presence of this beautiful White-tailed Deer was an added bonus. She was casually grazing on the ground cover, but was not eating the flowers.
Again the rain scattered across the flowers
Crystal sparks of dawn.
The color of the rainbow is playing there,
Beckoning with iridescences of light.
The painting is worthy of a pen,
And the images in the canvases.
And the sun shines in the morning,
Caressing with natural beauty.
Ah, the raindrops on the flowers
A lovely miracle vision.
And the image is born in verse,
Like in a fairy tale, it comes instantly.

Always happy to see the little green-finches any time they come to visit. This time of year sees some lovely late afternoon sunshine hit the bird bath at a very low angle.
