Sometimes I spot something that makes me 'jump' and smile.
Here are a few and then one I made for my granddaughter!
Like me not keen on big spiders... LOL
Hope you enjoy.
Thank you, have a day, M, (*_*)

Shooting a graphics card. One flash, card on brown-colored acrylic glass, underneath the glass: dark cloth (black velvet).
That's it. Btw.: Yes, I was too lazy to clone out the spacer ...
5-min-Photoshop fix: darkening the background (paint black color all around the card and the reflection), sharpening.

Street graphics of Paris. Most of these modified signs have the stick figure carrying the white bar under his arm, like a surfboard. This white bar is obviously a much heavier burden.
Beautiful pre Photoshop graphics. Read these at school 50 years ago. Absolutely packed with information and fantastic hand drawn graphics. Works of art in themselves. I picked up all 12 volumes of 12 magazines for £10.00 on eBay year or so ago. All in mint condition.

Ricky came over this evening on his Honda CBR 1000 and I decided that his helmet would make for a great light painted subject. I knew he'd like a few photos since he was so thrilled with the graphics when he bought it, and while I admit it's a step up from his last one, it's not nearly as awesome as mine.
For you Disney fans out there, the red LEDs were gutted from Glow Fest or ElecTRONica martini glasses, and the multi colored swirls are from the glowy ice cubes.

Unfortunately the scan got a little cut off in the margin of the book, but this is from the Planning survey report of Canberra city district published in 1959 by the National Capital Development Commission.
Interesting to see data like the % of various building materials used on the exterior of buildings being tabulated and represented spatial. The result is a map that starts to indicate qualities of the built environment, but does so on an objective basis. You interpret whether a primarily brick neighborhood is good or bad, these are the facts.
The original offset print is beautiful and unfortunately it does not translate well to screen.
PLEASE, NO invitations, graphics or self promotions, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks.
In the summer of 1926 Elsie Reford (1872-1967) began transforming her fishing camp on the Metis River into a garden. Hundreds of miles from the nearest nursery, Elsie Reford was faced with challenges that would be difficult to imagine today. Where experienced specialists had failed, she succeeded in turning her spruce forest into a gigantic garden that would become one of the largest plant collections of its time. Elsie hired and trained people from the region, like farmers and fishing guides in order to turn them into master gardeners. Over three decades, they’ve built a magnificent garden together.
The Reford Gardens are a National Historic Site of Canada. Some 3,000 species and varieties of plants, including the famous Himalayan blue poppy, are spread over fifteen gardens.

I was planning a trip to the USA but I now have to put it off for at least 4 years or longer. Unless it is to states that voted Democrat, most of New England - they may want to join Canada 👍👍
The Gulf of Mexico will always be that name for me, it will take years for all maps to be changed.

If I comment on somebody's photograph it's because I've been moved to do so, and it's nice to think people will do the same for me. However, PLEASE don't use banners and distracting graphics. Whilst it's always lovely to know someone likes a particular photo, these 'awards' are ugly and, because they don't say anything constructive, will be removed.
