Nifty graphics and a handy measuring stick.

I loved these books for their simple identification methods. You could buy them for under $2.00 at National Park bookstores in the early 1980s so I have a stack of them.

Beautiful pre Photoshop graphics. Read these at school 50 years ago. Absolutely packed with information and fantastic hand drawn graphics. Works of art in themselves. I picked up all 12 volumes of 12 magazines for £10.00 on eBay year or so ago. All in mint condition.

Street graphics of Paris. Most of these modified signs have the stick figure carrying the white bar under his arm, like a surfboard. This white bar is obviously a much heavier burden.
