another piece for the will gallery showing. i said this to my sweety the other day and he asked me what song it was from and i swears i made it up. because i did.
Flew over the salt ponds at the south end of San Francisco bay near San Jose, as I have many times. Someday I am going to fly in a proper small plane in order to truly capture the amazing patterns and colors here.
This is a page from my current graphics journal, some small experiments with a Polaroid photo, wallpaper sample and black biro. The page to the right is small doodles whilst being put on hold on the telephone; I have BT to thank for that page.
Crummock Water lays still, sentries guard her shore from ravages of approaching foe.
Stoic and resolute, soul mates unable, unwilling to run.
Grasmoor and Whiteless Pike stern gatekeepers fight with each foot of altitude, scree
scars their flanks from previous encounters.
Dark topped, piling the front high upon their ridge, soon their fight will be one for
sightless eyes, loud and brash, yet unseen. Hidden in the fog of war.
All seems written, another lost in this eternal struggle, too vast for humankind to
comprehend. Yet hope remains as one by one rays of sunlight break the bonds, save
the day, this day.
We live, we die, and we turn to dust. A mere heartbeat in this story of struggle and loss.

Another year, another Libre Graphics Meeting drawing! It's hard to resist sketching when there's several days worth of 5-20 minute poses! I leave it as an exercise to find all the LGM easter eggs in the drawing.. (I was drawn by Manuel Quiñones)

Getting per-application graphics corruption when dragging on a new-type 2007 iMac 24" (Santa Rosa?).
A map depicting those flights numbered 001 by some of the world's large airlines, as reported by www.flightstats.com/. These are as of today; I wanted to compare the original 001 flights from various airlines with the contemporary equivalent routes, but it was very hard to find information about old flight numbers.
Blue end of the flight path is origin, red is destination.
