It's the end of summer. Can the grape harvest be far off? At the WSU Tri-Cities campus Wine Science Laboratory.
My God, origin of all goods,
that watch constantly on your Church,
not to abandon the vineyard that thy right hand has planted:
continues to cultivate
and enrich the selected shoots,
because they engaged in Christ, the true screw,
bear abundant fruit of eternal life.
For our Lord Jesus Christ ...

all’ ormai uva matura.
Ricordo come adesso, vendemmiava
anche mio padre,
che tutto indaffarato
dall’ uva ricavava il dolce succo.
Le canestre, i tini, il torchio,
le damigiane inoltre con le botti,
del gran rito gli strumenti.
Nel contesto di cui parlo,
gli studi e gli altri impegni.
Ma per me tutto era vacanza,
liscio un andàr avanti
e senza intoppo.
Poi venne pure il dovere,
che sempre a lottàr mi spinse,
anche a costo di fatica,
per ciò che giusto è e sacrosanto.

L'ULTIMO MESSAGGIO DEL 25 SETTEMBRE 2011
Quote of the day ( 25 settembre 2011 )
"Cari figli, Oggi, figlioli, vi invito, ad essere con Gesù attraverso la preghiera, per poter scoprire la bellezza delle creature di Dio tramite l'esperienza personale nella preghiera. Non potete parlare né testimoniare della preghiera se non pregate, perciò, figlioli, nel silenzio del cuore rimanete con Gesù, perché Lui vi cambi e vi trasformi con il Suo Amore."

This evening in South Coast Winery's (Temecula, CA) vineyards. Some of the grapes in the vineyards are beginning to change from green to purple, a process called "veraison". The grapes' color changes as they begin to ripen, and the sugar levels rise as the acid level decreases.

I wish you well in whatever way is most appropriate for you but cannot take on the extra work of writing it to you individually. Thank you for your good wishes and to those who have made me their contact. Due to long term health and eye problems I regret I can't take on any new contacts but nearly always manage to reply to your comments.
On my break between classes I took a walk through the NVC Vineyard ...Many of the Grape s are still on the vines and with our recent hot dry weather many of the leaves are shriveling and dropping and some of the grapes are also shriveling and drying into rasins .
"Thompson seedless - A vigorous deciduous vine with bold-textured, deep green foliage, grown for its large bunches of classic, small, sweet, mild-flavored, green grapes. A good mid-season table grape. This vigorous, twining vine works well as a screen for arbors or trailing along fences."
These were definitely table grapes, I tried one and it was delicious. I was just sorry I couldn't get a whole bunch off to bring home!!
Better viewed large.
Thank you for your favourites. :O)
"Ping Pong" grapes displayed in a fruit stall. A variety of grapes, as large as table tennis ball, from Xinjiang. Freshly displayed. A layer of dew still visible on the grapes. Photo taken in Nanjing, China.
Some glorious wine grapes on the vine in regional Victoria.
I have not bonded with the DP2 Merrill as with the original DP1 and DP2. The colours are lackluster until given considerable adjustment, and the files need the sharpness reined back from the default setting. Skin tones are also an issue, often being too yellow or brown. But sometimes you can coax really great images out of the camera, with some judicious processing.
