I wish you well in whatever way is most appropriate for you but cannot take on the extra work of writing it to you individually. Thank you for your good wishes and to those who have made me their contact. Due to long term health and eye problems I regret I can't take on any new contacts but nearly always manage to reply to your comments.
The saga continues... I fashioned a crude blue filter to help illuminate the grapes, which are looking pretty ripe now. A little post processing and things are starting to look a little more artsy. Yay. Gotta love the split colors here.
PLEASE DO NOT FAVE WITHOUT LEAVING A COMMENT. THANK YOU.
IF YOU DO, MY PHOTOS WILL BE REMOVED FROM YOUR FAVES AND/OR YOU WILL BE BLOCKED

Latin Name: Muscari - Grape Hyacinth
Muscari is a genus of perennial bulbous plants native to Eurasia that produce spikes of dense, most commonly blue, urn-shaped flowers resembling bunches of grapes in the spring. The common name for the genus is grape hyacinth, but they should not be confused with hyacinths.
Photographed in our garden.
Taken with my Canon EOS 7D Mark II and Canon Telephoto Zoom 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM EF Lens and framed in Photoshop.

P.S. I don't know what is happening on Flickr, or why, but my list of people I was following suddenly went down from around 98 to 68 a couple of days ago, and tonight I notice that the number was down again to 64 people. If you suddenly find that I am not commenting/inviting/ showing that I follow you, please let me know and I will re-follow my usual contacts again. I have gone through my list and noticed that certain names are missing so I am following some of you once again, but I have possibly missed some, so please flickr mail me if you think I have missed you. Thank you!
These were definitely table grapes, I tried one and it was delicious. I was just sorry I couldn't get a whole bunch off to bring home!!

Thank you for your favourites. :O)

Some glorious wine grapes on the vine in regional Victoria.
I have not bonded with the DP2 Merrill as with the original DP1 and DP2. The colours are lackluster until given considerable adjustment, and the files need the sharpness reined back from the default setting. Skin tones are also an issue, often being too yellow or brown. But sometimes you can coax really great images out of the camera, with some judicious processing.
