For today's theme "many identical objects" in the SOS group.

Hazel nuts all looking a bit wide eyed and not all there lol.

I have discovered a new life form in my garden, a cute and friendly tree fungus which I named Woody. Woody was covered with cat hair when I found him, so I suppose the cats already know him. :)

I surprised a toilet roll on the landing today, he had 'escaped' from the bathroom and got quite a shock as I climbed the stairs :)

Taken for the theme "There is a hole in" for the SOS group.

the boys are awoken by excited chatter, they are delighted to discover that Mavis and Jeremy are now proud parents to the lovely baby Janice, happy christmas everyone.

Who's the most important man this country ever knew?

Do you know what politician I have reference to?

Well, it isn't Mr. Bryan, and it isn't Mr. Hughes.

I've got a hunch that to that bunch I'm going to introduce:

(Again you're wrong and to this throng I'm going to Introduce:)

another hero bites the dust. Monty Python had a major influence on my taste in humour and "life of Brian" is a favourite film.

June 22, 2025: Sunday, I was in Castle Rock, Colorado, visiting my daughter and granddaughter. After purchasing some fruit and vegetables at the local farmers market, we proceeded to slice and dice the food. My 3-year-old granddaughter loved the next part - add googly eyes.

A stoned date and his pack of odd bods do Mr Carrot in.

A new additional :) Stavros is a Greek cactus with a lovely bushy moustache (courtesy of a local sheep). Quite the personality although he can be a bit of a prick at times lol.

the tin I keep my coffee beans in,

we had a belated work Christmas do, this is the only photo I took

this head has been in the family for many years, you can put seeds in the grooves and he will grow hair, fun.

15/52 Pete's pictures of Chickpea and googly-eyed fruit are delightful and make me smile every time I see one. They are whimsical, creative and very well done. If you haven't seen them yet, here's a link www.flickr.com/photos/chickpeasrule/

On a completely different note, I don't eat meat and now I'm wondering if veggies have feelings too.

We had another flurry of snow, melting again but look what appeared in the garden! a rare snow chicken and she made a nest and laid an egg! I've named her Elsa because she's frozen lol.

These googly eyes are a perfect match, this week's Macro Mondays theme. They are fastened to a drinking cup, festive for Halloween. HMM

as the sun sets we spot a glimpse of the rare Googly Eyed Hedgehog exploring the orchard.

We went Christmas tree shopping and met a nice herd of young reindeer. This one followed me home and because of the huge black melting eyes I couldn't say no.

(Benni lent him a Christmas scarf.)

Stormtrooper Bruce has been working hard all week long when off duty trying to get things ready for Movie Night. STB was able to get things finished at the last minute before the guys showed up, all the while knowing they’ll never appreciate all the blood, sweat and tears that went into tonight’s preparation.

TK-432: Dude, I’m impressed with your restraint in decorating this year. I was expecting things to get over the top. But now that I’ve opened my big mouth, I realize the month isn’t over yet.

TK-1110: I’m even more impressed by your restraint in over-obsessing about what you’re going to make for the Bake Off this year. I read in the paper attendance for the P’s Haunted Alley is mandatory again this year, but thankfully costumes are optional.

STB: I confess, I have obsessed a little bit…thus the cake we’re having for dessert tonight. I found a new recipe at one of the outposts we were sent to, and I hope you’ll agree it’s the bomb!

TK-432: Do people say that any more? Well anyway, I was noticing your fancy little cake earlier, but was waiting for you to bring it up. It looks awesome! And as long I as I don’t spring an extra arm, scales or two more eyeballs, I’m game!

TK-1110: OK, now that we’re talking about the elephant in the room, as amazing as it looks, that cake stand it’s sitting on, if that’s what you call it, fits in perfectly with your décor! Something else you found at one of those outposts?

STB: Made it myself! Except for the platter, it’s all edible – one for each of us!

TK-432: Well, I’ve never eaten furniture before, but considering the movies you probably have lined up for us tonight, it just might be the midnight snack we’re hankering for.
