My house and street on the Google Maps 3D view (2019).
This is an older photo mapping as the number of bicycles (on the curb) has significantly increased in 2018.

i wrote a little script to get google directions from place to place, and draw them in processing. the streets end up looking a little like organisms
A watercolor painting I did based on the Google Maps view of 12 Shepherd's Loan in Dundee, Scotland. You can see this view here, but the two people in the painting disappear as you move down the street!
This is a pet project based on "traveling" the streets of Google Maps and painting the people I find there. More info here.
Android cihazlarda yüklü olarak gelen Google Maps bazen günü kurtarsa da şarj sıkıntısını yaşatan Adnroid cihazlarda şarjı aşırı tükettiğinden dolayı şikayet sebebi olabiliyor. Peki, bunu önlemenin bir yolu yok mu? Elbette var. Demokrasilerde çareler tükenmez.

The next wave of Google Street View images went live today, and as i expected, I was again snapped by one of Google's Vauxhall Astra camera cars.
This pic was taken outside my office in Hampshire. (my first Google Street View outing was down the street from my old house in West London).
Still haven't figured out a sensible way to report these *after* driving (and the "shake to report" feature is, well, kind of stupid - on New England roads, it's a fine *pothole detector* but triggering 8 or 10 times per commute gets old.) Something I could do with headset-triggered voice would be great, or even a "double tap to tag, have the "you've arrived" window list tagged points for review and report". And note that this is the public beta, it doesn't have to be for everyone, I'm only running it to try and report bugs so the UI can of course have some bias-for-reporting features, as long as they're driver-friendly.
Oh and the key bit: Note the "stay on 126". Not only is rt 2 not 126, I wasn't strictly speaking *on* 126 at any point - I turned right from Thoreau St on to Rt 2, which is where 126 starts if you cross the intersection...
Almost positive Google won't be sending me a super-d-dupper-d-cool QR Code decal for my window, so I made some art for my door.
