For the last two and a half years I have worn shapewear to help smooth and "contain" the loose skin around my midsection. It is FINALLY snapping back. What you see here is me with "just" my regular top and a cami underneath. Whoo! :)
This van has been at the lemon longer then me and any of the current staff. It was bought in early 2007 before the company even started by Tom. When The Big Lemon started in mid 2007 the van was used to store supply's along with the waste cooking oil fuel for the buses. After doing this for four and a half years today we said goodbye to the mighty van as it left for scrap. Its seen here as it left for the scrapyard. This was the longest serving member of the lemon fleet.

In essence, they're saying "leave NOW!" "Go away!" "That's all you can do here!" Wow.

On Saturday 11th July, Plantsbrook School opened its doors to the public for an event celebrating the school building's rich past and its exciting future, where the school building will be demolished with an all-new school being gradually built in its place. Being a former pupil as well as a photographer/journalist sent to cover the event, I set about diligently capturing as much of the school on camera as possible. It's astounding to think that by 2017, everything in these photographs will be gone...

I was born in Plumstead and would have had many mornings waiting at the bus stop outside this care home, for my bus to school. My main recollection was of the row of windows at the front of the building, where residents would sit in comfy chairs at the view across Plumstead Common.
I was never sure of the age of the building and although it had a sprawling layout I think I always looked at it as a 'nice' building and never gave any thought to the possibility that it would someday become out-dated and be pulled down.
Hoardings went up around the building in mid-2012, and demolition began a short while later. By the end of 2012 all traces of the old building were gone, and a new one was beginning to appear in its place.

We say goodbye as the Yin and Yang Evo X's get shipped back to Laos after the Quite the Collection photo shoot.
Goodbye Mongolia. Unfortunately I doubt I'll be able to make it back there next Summer but I am already thinking of something adventurous to do in Mongolia within the next few years...

Goodbye useless, awesome Spartan Laser. I bought you at Brickfair Virginia 2012, and I've used you once. I imagine tkaplan will treat you well and use you well. I'm sorry to see you go.

But seriously, I'm kinda sad to see my Splaser go. It was useless to me almost, but it is triple overmolded, tan, gunmetal, and black. So cool. I'm a little sad, but I'm looking forward to the HLC w/ viewfinder. I've always wanted one. Goodbye, Spartan Laser.

My friend Elisabeth caught the bus today, continuing on her journey backpacking through Canada. Sad to say goodbye again, but excited to hear about all of the adventures that she's planning. It was great having her visit for the past few days, and I hope that I can make it to Germany one day so she can show me around her home as well!
Today is the last day Kodachrome rolls will ever be processed again. There was nothing like it...
