Testing a new lens - Vivitar Series 1 28/1.9 + extension tube @ f/1.9. With extension tubes, the bokeh becomes nice. Aberrations remain.
Shirakawa-go was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1995, it is famous for their traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old.
Gassho-zukuri means "constructed like hands in prayer", as the farmhouses' steep thatched roofs resemble the hands of Buddhist monks pressed together in prayer. The architectural style developed over many generations and is designed to withstand the large amounts of heavy snow that falls in the region during winter. The roofs, made without nails, provided a large attic space used for cultivating silkworms.

The place photographed is an amusement area with a few big halls/buildings, called "Go Planet". And in this image you can see I turned Go Planet into a little planet of its own :)
Found in Pleasant Hill, MO outside a restoration shop. Pleasant Hill is a quaint little Missouri town proud of its history. Walking around the square and historic downtown I felt like I was walking the sidewalks of Mayberry.

We’re slowly clearing out our loft.
This is in surprisingly good nick. It was my favourite board game. I bought it on holiday when I was about 10 or 11 so it’s well over 50 years old.
I love those 60’s graphics and bright colours.
