Just needed some Godrays from the clouds to top it off.

The recent series of gorgeous sunsets posted by MyArtistSoul inspired me to take this shot this evening. Perhaps we should challenge each other to see whether Ventura, California (where he lives) or San Diego has the most magnificent sunsets. This is my entry for today. Others are invited to join the fun.

I've been playing tonight! Isolating, duplicating and resizing pics I took of the super moon... added to a layer made with noise, Gaussian blur, and airbrush tool in Photoshop.

Sunlight through the Trees, Paradise, Mt Rainier National Park, Washington

Clouds over Hewitt Texas, before the rain.

On Friday night,Becky and I took a short (less than 1 hour) hike out the hiking/biking trail that heads East out of Mahoney Park here in Lincoln. This is one of the images captured on that brief walk -- clouds and "god-rays" in the distance.

These rays appeared as the sunlight battled a looming storm front.

In honor of Spring and Easter I'm posting a photo of a tulip that was sitting by the window and was very dramatically soaking up the rays.

This single ray of light reminded me of Nine Inch Nails' "Every Day is Exactly the Same"

View from Starr, SC... which is surely a different view than you got! :-D

Sun Shower on the Grand Tetons by Matt Anderson

Some fair-weather altocumulus over the beach at Santa Monica. For those who don't know, I was a meteorology technician in the US Air Force... I still have my head in the clouds over a decade later.
