The recent progress of PPFX Graphics enhancement for TESV. Gamma is corrected now (via logarithmic decoding), colors are converted between RGB and LogLuv32 (see Ward Larson papers) when being returned to the next pass, thus keeping quantization steps below the visible threshold. Some fancy shaders were added as screenspace volumetric light scattering/godrays, for instance, (ref. Nvidia GPUGems' papers) Besides some crazy values in the ini file were along with some tonemap-related changes to fit my tastes. Still it would look a lot more beautiful if I turned away from that "cineastic" to more of natural, correct appearance. Will address that in the future :)
Hope you enjoy!

This is one of the few photos I took while visiting the castle. I don't like shooting people because they like to move. It is almost impossible to find a spot on that castle without someone ruining the photo.
There are two almost identical panoramas from the same location. Besides the different resolution I also used different post-work.
Dispite the dark impression this was still in the afternoon and actually quite bright.

The recent series of gorgeous sunsets posted by MyArtistSoul inspired me to take this shot this evening. Perhaps we should challenge each other to see whether Ventura, California (where he lives) or San Diego has the most magnificent sunsets. This is my entry for today. Others are invited to join the fun.
I've been playing tonight! Isolating, duplicating and resizing pics I took of the super moon... added to a layer made with noise, Gaussian blur, and airbrush tool in Photoshop.
On Friday night,Becky and I took a short (less than 1 hour) hike out the hiking/biking trail that heads East out of Mahoney Park here in Lincoln. This is one of the images captured on that brief walk -- clouds and "god-rays" in the distance.
