Have you ever laid in a bed of your favorite food? I found this lady beetle larva feasting on this colony of aphids. You would think they would try to get away, but they did not even seem to care that they were being devoured. I guess with aphids, it's always "don't worry; be happy."
7 sins theme.
No motivation. Crappy picture. And I'm okay with that. I just really don't feel like shooting lately.
Taken for monthly club themed competition. This month The Seven Sins.
Anybody want some bananas I have a few spare :)

I did not make these. Had I made them the marshmallow would be way gooier and the chocolate would be meltier...and if someone else had written this the description would no doubt be smartier. ;)
Part 3 of the Seven Deadly Sins
Derived from the Latin gluttire, meaning to gulp down or swallow, Gluttony is the over-indulgence and over-consumption of food, drink, or intoxicants to the point of waste. In the Christian religions, it is considered one of the seven deadly sins -- a misplaced desire of food or its withholding from the needy.
Depending on the culture, it can be seen as either a vice or a sign of status. The relative affluence of the society can affect this view both ways. A wealthy group might take pride in the security of having enough food to eat to show it off, but it could also result in a moral backlash when confronted with the reality of those less fortunate.
Early Church leaders (e.g., Thomas Aquinas) took a more expansive view of gluttony (Okholm 2000), arguing that it could also include an obsessive anticipation of meals, and the constant eating of delicacies and excessively costly foods.
He went so far as to prepare a list of five ways to commit gluttony, including:
Praepropere - eating too soon
Laute - eating too expensively
Nimis - eating too much
Ardenter - eating too eagerly
Studiose - eating too daintily

This little drawing may be self explanatory and may not. It's about the baby bird refusing to take wing and leave the nest, growing fat while depending on the mother bird to take care of it's needs. The mother bird has not been wise, has continued to care for the baby until she is worn thin. The baby bird is about to devour the last thing the mother has to give, her heart.
Derived from the Latin gluttire, meaning to gulp down or swallow, gluttony is the over-indulgence and over-consumption of anything to the point of waste. In the Christian religions, it is considered a sin because of the excessive desire for food, or its withholding from the needy.[3]
Depending on the culture, it can be seen as either a vice or a sign of status. Where food is relatively scarce, being able to eat well might be something to take pride in (although this can also result in a moral backlash when confronted with the reality of those less fortunate). Where food is routinely plentiful, it may be considered a sign of self control to resist the temptation to over-indulge.
Medieval church leaders (e.g., Thomas Aquinas) took a more expansive view of gluttony,[3] arguing that it could also include an obsessive anticipation of meals, and the constant eating of delicacies and excessively costly foods.[4] He went so far as to prepare a list of six ways to commit gluttony, including:
* Praepropere - eating too soon.
* Laute - eating too expensively (washedly).
* Nimis - eating too much.
* Ardenter - eating too eagerly (burningly).
* Studiose - eating too daintily (keenly).
* Forente - eating wildly (boringly).

In Christianity, it is considered a sin if the excessive desire for food causes it to be withheld from the needy.
