This was my entry for the r/bioniclelego "Seven Deadly Sins" competition a while ago. Just uploading the photos here.
Derived from the Latin gluttire, meaning to gulp down or swallow, gluttony is the over-indulgence and over-consumption of anything to the point of waste

**Part of a week long set I am doing in reference to the seven deadly sins**
Gluttony / Gula
Now here is a sin that sounds exactly how it is defined. Gluttony – the sin over eating too much food. Historically and depending on the culture that you are raised in, it can be defined as eating too expensively, eating eagerly, rudely, or uncontrollably crazy. But for me, the sin of gluttony is overindulgence of food.
So I’ll go ahead and say this, none of the seven deadly sins disgusts me more than gluttony. Nothing repulses me more than to be on a date with a girl who eats like a goddamn pig. I really don’t care what she looks like, that has nothing to do with it. But to sit there and watch a girl horse down a 8 slices of pizza, a supersize french fry, or crazy amounts of pasta down her throat and then order 3 pieces of carrot cake when she is done only to drink 7 Dr Peppers along the way makes me want regurgitate my own food and throw up. It truly revolts me. It just shows a lack of respect for yourself and your own body. It shows me that you really don’t care about being healthy. It’s a just disgusting thing to do all the way around.
I eat a very particular diet. I wrote about it before on here so I really won’t get into it. But in short I eat a lot of meat, vegetables, dairy products, nuts, and fruits. That’s pretty much it. Almost everything I eat is as few steps removed from nature as possible. I don’t eat shit candy, fast food, food in a box, food in a can (except soup), or mostly any junk food. I try to avoid aspartame and sweeteners too, that shit is too good to be true, something’s gotta give there.
You are what you eat. Not only have I lost weight and maintain a good weight with the way I eat, it makes me feel healthy and good. Whether or not I’m right in what I eat being beneficial is beside the point. I feel good about myself after eating, and I’m about as healthy as anyone.

Actualmente la gula o glotonería se identifica como el consumo excesivo de comida y bebida, aunque en el pasado cualquier forma de exceso podía caer bajo la definición de este pecado. En la Divina Comedia de Alighieri, los penitentes en el Purgatorio eran obligados a pararse entre dos árboles, incapaces de alcanzar y comerse las frutas colgando de las ramas de estos y por consecuencia se les describía como personas hambrientas.

Not really fair of me to label this gecko a glutton, as this is a modest meal, and the only meal I've seen it eat. They move amazingly fast when going after prey, and then shake their heads violently once they've caught something. Some of the blur in this shot is due to the gecko head-shaking, and the rest is my technique ;-)
We wanted to show what we could do, it looks like we took on to much now it is time to show how to run away with little style, who ever said gluttony was a bad thing?
Zephyr Corp showing off the speed of the Honir it was a 6 vs 1 battle it is now a 2 v 1 battle they never saw him coming, but we think this might be Honirs' limit. More field data needed...

I had a lot of time to cook and bake a lot of good things today, as this black cherries pie .
I know, I'm evil to post two photos of sweets ... but it's not my fault if I love sweets =))
Now I have to run to clean the kitchen .. is the part I hate most of cooking =))

Theme: Seven Sins
Luckily I only had to chose the one and having visited a pick your own farm it had to be gluttony...
Well, the majority of the snow has melted away from the backyard and it's becoming quite obvious just how many sunflower seeds the squirrel's went through this winter.
This little guy is sifting through the pile on the ground in search of some not so empty shells.
I think he found himself a few and I managed a pretty simple photo for the day.

I really cropped this photograph way to much. I never dare to photograph myself this closely in fear that it will look so ugly/bizzare I would pass out.
I havn't really wanted to edit the photograph I took yesterday. It's soooo. boring. But I will do soon. Boring to not have them in my set.
So many great shots from today.
and..... I'm not really starting the 7 deadly sins, I just though it was a nice concept.

A larva of the large rose sawfly. The larvae hatch quickly and begin to devour the leaves on rose bushes. Initially they bunch together but, as they grow bigger, they begin to lead a more solitary existence. Occasionally numbers are very high and a lot of damage can be done to roses. Even though some plants may be so heavily infested they die, this is quite exceptional. In most cases no action needs to be taken. The natural enemies appear within two weeks after the outbreak and will quickly limit the number of sawfly larvae. And that’s good news for the garderer.

My kids can't get enough spaghetti. This was a lazy day so they had homemade tomato sauce from the freezer, or pesto from a jar!
