i had a major custard craving (gees, cravings galore over here!) so i decided to try and make some custard tarts.. they came out pretty good actually! :D

I might just move away from yeasted breads for awhile. These soda breads are a dream. And I love this crust!
This is the candy I've made for over 20 years. YUM. The only adaptation in the current recipe is the switch from cream to coconut milk.
As a Staffordshire lass, I've had my fair share of oatcakes over the years. Since being diagnosed coeliac I haven't had any, but my dad found a gluten free oatcake mix so Chris gave it a go. It was lovely, really bought back memories!

We met for breakfast at a place in Pasadena, called Wheatberry. I assumed there wouldn't be anything for me to eat, with a name like that. But down at the bottom of the menu, thick yogurt and fresh berries.
Even in the most unlikely of places, i can eat.

Exploring gluten free altenatives to my favourite foods - I realise I am going to really miss Swedish crispbread/knäckebröd so tried this recipe for a buckwheat flatbread which is a pretty good alternative.
