I catched this beautiful colours in the Lower Antelope Canyon in Arizona, Usa.
As I could not use my tripod, I was forced to raise the ISO a bit.

Das Pfeilkraut ist eine in Mitteleuropa heimische Wildpflanze für feuchte Standorte.
Die Rhizome sind essbar. In Kanada werden die Pfeilkraut-Knollen "Wapatoo" genannt und wurden von den Ureinwohnern gesammelt und in Glut geröstet zubereitet.
The arrowhead is a wild plant native to Central Europe for moist locations.
The rhizomes are edible. In Canada, the arrowhead tubers are called "Wapatoo" and were collected by the natives and prepared roasted in embers.

Wegen eines heftigen Sturms musste der Eisvogel so hoch fliegen, dass die Sonne unter ihm lag. Dabei nahm die Oberseite die Farbe des blauen Himmels an, die Unterseite färbte sich durch die Glut der Sonne rot.

A simple seascape from a quick visit to Pebbly Beach on Friday, just because I like the colour of the water :)
At the back of the beach are some rather large sand dunes, which in itself wasn't necessarily a problem, being used to enjoying beach workouts and sand dune runs. I did however underestimate the steepness and the softness of the sand. You take one step forward 20cms or so and then you would literally sink back 15cms. It was faster dropping to your knees and dragging yourself up. That probably explained the lack of any other footprints, or footsinks I should say, Halfway up my quads were trying to talk my hammies and glutes into going on strike and telling my bossy brain they were stopping. I was on their side but much to my dismay my brain tricked them and told them we were nearly to the top and keep going.
The views from the top were quite spectacular and worth it though, a different view of a beach I have been to several times. After rolling back down I sat down at the bottom to rest with a drink of water and an apple and soak in this simple view. I wish I could have got onto that rock to dangle my feet in that inviting looking water, but the tide was coming in so didn't risk it.

It wasn't an easy task this week. After several different approaches, attempts and smoke detectors going off, I finally decided to roll up paper in a tealight holder and simply burn the paper - this is the result. Edited in On 1 Photo Raw 2020 and Topaz Adjust.

Keine neue Idee für eine Folierung, aber die Umsetzung gefällt. Am 23. September 2021 konnte ich die Traxx-Maschine vor dem KT 50223 von Hamburg Billwerder nach Verona Q.E. bei Langweid am Lech fotografieren.

Not a new idea for a foliation, but the realization pleases. On September 23, 2021, I was able to photograph the Traxx engine in front of intermodal train KT 50223 from Hamburg Billwerder to Verona Q.E. near Langweid am Lech.

In der Antike, wie auch im Mittelalter und der Moderne war und ist Eisen ein häufig verwendetes Material zum Schmieden.
Es kann nur verformt werden, solange es heiß und somit auch weich genug ist, ansonsten bricht es eher, als dass es verformt wird.
