This is one of the first photos I ever took. Taken on a Polaroid instamatic I received as a Christmas present ~ 1969.
Maya is my girlfriends daughter. She is funny, sweet and says what she thinks. And, she is always thinking something interesting. Alot like her mom. AND, she smells good too.

Caught up with a high-school friend Jenelle for a few red wines at The Como this evening. Hadn't seen her in 10 looooooooong years (although it feels like yesterday!). Was so fantastic seeing her, it was like we just picked up right where we left off back in 1999. AND she hasn't aged a BIT! We chatted for a good 2 & 1/2 hours & pledged to see eachother again real soon. After seeing Jenelle I went to Deville's Pad with Twitter lovelies @Synthetikdoll, @shannonminion, @Honey_mumbles & @MissNelliSofia for a Horny Devil (Absynthe cocktail), an Apple & Evil (Apple Manhattan with a little toy snake floating in the glass!) & a White Sangria before heading home at about midnight to watch a Static-X concert DVD (I am now a fan) & drink a Jack Daniels with Al whilst cuddling on the couch. Perfect evening.
Monday meant I had to do my day job, but Bridget came over to make me lunch with really good ingredients and it was delicious and she's wonderful.
After work, she and I went out for Froyo and went for a nice walk around the Loop before she had to drive down to Ironton. What sucks is that I now have to spend a couple of Bridget-free days. Oh well, she'll be back Wednesday.
