The new owners wanted vacant posession so after living on this gorgeous 110 acre bushland property for 4 years I had to leave (by May 2014) and seek new accomodations. The solution was to move in with my then new girlfriend of 1 year but they turned out to be ultra-toxic and I left her in mid-2018 due to escalating domestic violence, bullying, and harassment directed AT ME by her.
At least I got back my RAD (Refundable Accomodation Deposit) aka rental bond.
I've never had a relationship since, and I've lived on my own since mid-2018.
It was a great day yesterday as Jack graduated from NIU. Super proud of him and all he has accomplished.

Agatha Palmerstone: hmm, tell me more. This is the kind of stuff I love hearing about
Jubilant Quackenbush: Well (if I understand it correctly) Al Chet is when the community confesses to sins together in a group in such a way as the person who may have committed a particular sin does not have to bear the shame of confessing it personally...
Jubilant Quackenbush: and thinking about that made me think about taking responsibility for systemic sin. (I had a conversation once where I spoke about the US torture as something we did - the person I was talking to said WE didn't do it - the Republicans did - which I thought was a bit of a cop out)
Agatha Palmerstone: it is and it also isn't
Jubilant Quackenbush: I mean we all participate in systemic sin - like it or not
Agatha Palmerstone: that's true, on the other hand I don't believe in the theory of democracy. I don't think the government reflects me except to the extent that I haven't been able to destroy it... yet.
Jubilant Quackenbush: and so I starting thinking, what if on the cross, God was atoning for hir part in setting up a system that allowed for the grievous harm we do to one another?
Agatha Palmerstone: but yes - that's genius. But the world of theology would be hard pressed to accept that theory. It is probably true though. It would fit a lot of the metaphors: the redeeming price, the paschal lamb. It's not just our redemption but the lord's
