This is a picture that my ex-girlfriend took of me reflected in the marble tabletop at a great noodle place we used to eat at. I took the picture, ramped up the contrast, adjusted the hue and saturation, and finally, flipped it 180 degrees, and the effect is a bit troubling, as I look either like I am behind a cloud of smoke, or, well, I don't know really.

my girlfriend's husband called and asked if I could go out to dinner with my friend. She'd had a bad day and he knew she needed to get out of the house for a while. Nothing like being available to help out a friend. (wasn't that such a great husband thing to do? ...he treated to dinner too!)
