After a hard workout

escaping back into the time before the US went off track. For me that was late fall 1963. I was a junior in high school. I had my first real girlfriend. The Dodgers swept the Yankees in four. We had a young president who made everyone optimistic about the future. We trusted government, revered science, and valued experts. The middle class was flourishing and it felt like the beginning of a new American golden age.

(Also I really miss the rowing machine at the gym)

It's just so lovely to hang out with my amazing girlfriends!! At the Verge last Saturday, we had a gathering that included (left to right) me, Ayesha, Gillian and Nigella - plus the fabulous Irene, who isn't in this photograph.

It was my first time to meet up with the lovely Nigella Rolfe. She is as amazing in person as she is on the internet!!! Now I have to persuade her to lend me some of her incredibly sexy latex dresses!!!!
