Monday meant I had to do my day job, but Bridget came over to make me lunch with really good ingredients and it was delicious and she's wonderful.

After work, she and I went out for Froyo and went for a nice walk around the Loop before she had to drive down to Ironton. What sucks is that I now have to spend a couple of Bridget-free days. Oh well, she'll be back Wednesday.

Flossy came into the shelter with her son Charlie. Since then, we've had more of her pups show up. Her owners knew they were with us, and just didn't care. I met someone else who I believe bought one of her pups off the internet, and the person told her the mother was dead. She very well could have been, but lucky for her, she was adopted. She's a great dog and loves everyone and other dogs. Blue pit bulls are NOT rare people. NO color is. They are sitting in shelters all over this country and put to death every day.
