Okay, this is the last one for REAL! I really liked the original better though. This one didn't turn out like I wanted XD.

I'm on a machine that doesn't give me access to my normal photo software. So, I thought I'd play with GIMP. This is a phone shot.

This is also taken in a coffee bar in Toronto's Distillery District. This uses GIMP's c2g tool in conjunction with an additional colour layer (using layer mode "color"), flattened and then some final contrast, brightness and saturation adjustment.
An attempt to get a better HDR shot from misaligned images. 2 images, one blurred heavily, done twice (ie no1 blurred in GIMP, other left alone, both tonemapped in Photomatix, then repeated with no2 blurred, finally combined in GIMP using darken layer property.)
Taken during our visit to Malta, a first for us. This is a fascinating port city, full of history.

I was thinking how cool it would be if I had a model for this shot... then it dawned on me: I have GIMP!
I reworked my Day 31 photo by adapting Kendra's Secret to The Gimp. In fact, I cheated by using these instructions.
A very striking look!
