While taking my parents back home after lunch, I went past this ghost sign I had shot before and was able to get a better image of the wholesale grocer sign at the top.

This guy has a pretty big fire going, lots of ghost money on there...he wants his ancestors to be the richest ghosts on the block I guess.

In Ghost, a large installation of a group of Muslim women in prayer, Attia renders their bodies as vacant shells, empty hoods devoid of personhood or spirit. Made from tin foil - a domestic, throw away material - Attia’s figures become alien and futuristic, synthesising the abject and divine. Bowing in shimmering meditation, their ritual is equally seductive and hollow, questioning modern ideologies - from religion to nationalism and consumerism - in relation to individual identity, social perception, devotion and exclusion. Attia’s Ghost evokes contemplation of the human condition as vulnerable and mortal; his impoverished materials suggest alternative histories or understandings of the world, manifest in individual and temporal experience.

'Ghost Bikes are small and somber memorials for bicyclists who are killed or hit on the street. A bicycle is painted all white and locked to a street sign near the crash site, accompanied by a small plaque. They serve as reminders of the tragedy that took place on an otherwise anonymous street corner, and as quiet statements in support of cyclists' right to safe travel.'

Although there was a certain recent controversy over conspicuous liquor signs along Lenox Ave in Harlem, this one is a prominent landmark. I hope it stays and is restored just because of the area's lack of good neon.
This was dangerous to set up. My camera was on that railing that you see balanced with no support, because I set the timer and went on the other side of the leaf. There's not as much attention on the drops as I would have liked. But still, I give myself an A for effort.
Evidently, I'm not too good at posing too.
Shit, the big red dot...I think camera is getting done taking pictures...
