I wasn't going to make this one public, but the guys at G2 Studio have asked me change my mind - so here you go.

Down low, under the bridge

This was the last shot of my session with the ocean a couple weeks back down near Pacific City. I had ran out of media cards and was totally soaked after this one......

Bei's brief moment of seriousness (yet looking incredibly adorable)

In the midst of pacing back and forth in waiting for treat time to arrive, Bei backs up to the bush and assumes the position (just like Papa)

Here's a little secret about Canada - nobody moves here because of the weather. Call me stubborn, but I've decided as a photographer that when I get a chance to get out and shoot, I go. If it is 40 below, I go. If it is raining, I go. If it is hot, I go. Both this red squirrel and I got caught in a rainstorm a few days ago, and as I stood there getting soaked, and he stood there getting soaked. We both stared at each other. He fiddled with a twig. I took pictures. We're both weird.

Times like this are perfect for testing just how waterproof those waterproof boots are. Sometimes I think they are leaking but then realize I'm mistaking cold for wet. Other times they really are leaking...

My car wasn't designed for the kind of terrain I reluctantly drove it over/through, this evening; rutted field access and a flooded road.

There were two ideas in my head for the nights shoot, firstly, try to shoot the stationary Tug, at Elford, and then try to catch not only light trails (secondarily), but more importantly, capture some arcing on the WCML. Who actively goes out to photograph a Pendolino, in the dark? The arcing wasn't caught this time, so I'll have to go back but, the shot, post off-roading, and after getting wet and muddy, had to be uploaded.

To boldly go....

This was after the flash flood.

I took this shot knowing I could get those nice flowing water streaks, but wanted the viewer to 'feel' the power.
