My first workshop of the Urban Sketchers Symposium was Movement. Eduardo and Monica supplied a very helpful handout, which I will put to good use into the future. I will have to do a lot more of this kind of observational sketching to feel adept, with satisfactory result. Yes, I was put outside of my "comfort zone", my usual way of approaching drawing. And this was welcome.
As in this earlier attempt, I chose to sketch another sketcher, staying relatively still--not the point of this exercise.

This is chinese marker on big paper. I did this in my Advanced Design class in school from a live model. This took about 40 minutes.
