FORT BELVOIR NORTH AREA, Va. -- Letitia A. Long (right), director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), listens to closing remarks after assuming leadership of the agency during a ceremony here Aug. 9, 2010. To her right is U.S. Navy Vice Adm. Robert B. Murrett, outgoing director of NGA; Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper; and Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates. Long comes to NGA from the Defense Intelligence Agency, where she served as the deputy director from May 2006 until July 2010. FORT BELVOIR NORTH AREA, Va. -- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Campus East, or NCE, celebrated its grand opening with an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Sept. 26, 2011. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Baltimore District led the design and construction of the $1.7 billion, 2.4 million square-foot facility. Preparing to cut the ribbon on the third largest federal building in the national capital area are: (L-R) U.S. Senator Mark Warner, D-VA; Director of National Intelligence James R.
