"Building Berkeley: Mirror-World Creation from Geospatial Data" - Avatar Darb Dabney presents at Smarter Technology. "Broad availability of geospatial data is changing the way local government, public works and other entities manage and communicate about the built environment. Virtual worlds are an emerging part of the mix: useful in many forms of visualization, including construction of accurate 'mirror worlds' from imagery and sensor data. In this unique session, we'll converse with Brian Quinn, GIS Analyst, County of Marin, CA, and formerly GIS Coordinator for the City of Berkeley, CA.
