The Bhadohi district located at 45 Km from Varanasi (Benaras) is the biggest carpet manufacturing centre in India.
Well known carpets from Bhadohi cover all kind of ranges from mass market to the highest qualities, they are manufactured in various styles and designs.
This is a close-up shot in the factory of my Indian family where I always enjoy to take pictures.

George Gill and Sons, 1894 "Gill's New School of Art: Geometry". This was one of my great-grandad's books, and covers plane and solid geometry, with a digression into graphical arithmetic, such as the calculation of square roots. And what a fantastic cover it has.

“Euclid was a Greek mathematician. He is considered the father of Geometry. In greek geo means earth and metria stands for measure. Geometry arose as the field of knowledge dealing with spatial relationships.
