An eastbound South Bend Sub Geometry run is about to cross the Oak-Savannah trail at Griffith. Dem summer days....

BNSF 7044, leading the BNSF geometry train, which looks for track defects as it moves across the rails, is westbound here and knocking down the ESS Chana, IL signal. He's headed back home to Minneapolis. and was easily photographed, as he had to take the sidings for high-priority "Z" trains before e could pass.

Silver Geometry Project print #7
Printed on salted paper. The dark blue is cyanotype sensitiser made with brown ferric ammonium citrate; light blue is traditional cyanotype sensitizer made with green ferric ammonium citrate; dark brown is made with silver nitrate; golden brown is made with potassium dichromate; red is made by mixing silver nitrate with potassium dichromate.

Some fun geometry I discovered with the minifig baseplates. Thank goodness I have around 8 million of them. Don't know how useful this is, I was just messing around.
Green Reed Grass, common around here, bent by the seasons and the cooler weather. Noticed the geometry displayed and thought to take some photos.
