This was the first shot at my Geek Scrabble idea - in addition to the normal words, anything justifiable as geeky is allowable, even if it's an acronym, proper noun, etc.
There are a few good geeky terms in there - INT, SKU, RIAA, and my personal favorite, CERN.
The Geek Owlie loves to read mangas and books, she is really into video games too!
Because Owlie is little is easy to carry her around wherever you go, you can also use her as decoration for the kid's playroom or bedroom.
Owlie is made of mostly of white felt, details in yellow, blue and black felt. Her belly is full of polka dots.
The measurements are 4 inches tall(10cm) and 5 inches wide(13cm) from the widest part.
This item was carefully hand-stitched.
Geek, chic and lover of technology.
I've always had a fondness for being a girl (and saying screw you to people who think I couldn't do it) and my childhood love of technology and gadgets.
So it sounds about right to bring those two loves together as part of my transgender journey.
Oh, don't mind me....just doing some spring cleaning!
With Spring well and truly underway here in Oz, I thought it would be a good idea to get into that spring cleaning habit and give the place a spruce up. (after all, gotta keep the higher ups happy!)
Yes, that's a real "Geek Squad" outfit. (I love eBay!) Our office invited employees to bring in their costumed kids to trick-or-treat in our cube farm and said it was OK for workers to costume too. I think I was the only one who did!

When you sit in a room full of technology that makes you smile… that’s geek status among many other things which I firmly embody and embrace. Here’s to everyone out there reppin’ geek status!

These free decks from WotC arrived in my mailbox today and I felt a familiar tingling of excitment. Poker? Blackjack? PASS. This is the real stuff!
Now it's been many years since I've played but I'm fairly certain these decks are crap.
But oh the joy and familiarity. I wonder where my real decks went off to.
While out on the playa launching rockets, what better than a vintage Apollo contractor's jacket !
This one is from North American Rockwell and sports the special badge for a Mechanical Launch Team Technician. Seems like a nice title for masquerading about. So does the "NAR" patch on the front, since NAR also stands for the National Association of Rocketry, the group that records my Level 3 certification for buying and launching the big rocket motors. They also keep the ATF at bay... =)
