Geek, chic and lover of technology.
I've always had a fondness for being a girl (and saying screw you to people who think I couldn't do it) and my childhood love of technology and gadgets.
So it sounds about right to bring those two loves together as part of my transgender journey.

"What greater gift could you offer your children than an inherent ability to earn a living just by being themselves?" an quote from the book by Katherine Dunn!
One of my favorite books of all time!

You used to get it in your fishnets now you only get it in your night dress, discared all the naughty nights for niceness landed in a very common crisis, everything's in order in a black hole, nothing seems as pretty as the past though, that Bloody Mary's lacking a Tabasco, remember when he used to be a rascal? Florescent Adolescent, ARCTIC MONKEYS.
Something like a geek's wildest dream. I was invited to the table reading of the last scheduled-to-be-taped episode of Futurama (episode 26 of "season 6," I think it's numbered). The Futurama team is clearly a family; the reading was packed with those who worked on their show and their friends, partners, children, and wellwishers. The script is hilarious, of course.
The photo (left to right) is David "X" Cohen, co-executive producer of Futurama, me, my dear friend Sarah (David's sister) who I came to LA to visit, and Matt Groening.
With my geek dreams fulfilled, what next?!
so.
trin's futon was about the worst i'd ever experienced, so we dismantled the frame and laid the mattress out on the ground.
then we sawed the legs off the coffee table, nailed some clocks up on the wall and set up a back rest pillow for trin.
the result? a much more comfortable living space.
Sometimes i find myself sittin' back and reminscing, especially when I have to watch other people kissing. And I remember when you started callin' me your miss's all the play fightin', all the flirtatious disses. I'd tell you sad stories about my childhood, I dont know why I trusted you but I knew that I could. We'd spend the whole weekend lying in our own dirt, I was just so happy in your boxers and your t-shirt. (...)
