Old Gatepost

One from Chagford.

Gatepost to the house that is now Westholme Junior School.

A dressed stone gatepost on a bridge over the Monsal Trail. It's just a short distance from Thornbridge Hall, Great Longstone.

The passing crow added interest to the lion on the gatepost of Boughton Hall, as did the sunlight which selected the upper portion of the sculpture.
