Taken at Tyresta Park, Stockholm.
Only 20 kilometres from the centre of Stockholm lies one of the most unspoilt areas of natural beauty in central Sweden – Tyresta National Park and Nature Reserve. The park extends over almost 5,000 hectares. It has been protected to preserve its exceptional natural values and to safeguard its importance for recreation. ..... Loraine and I chatted a bit but then we each went our separate ways.
I wished her all the luck with her upcoming test. I had a feeling she was gonna need it!
I remember the poisonous apple exam was one of the toughest ones.
I continued my journey and finally arrived at the city gates.
After their little encounter with me, the guards had tightened security.
Everybody was to turn out their pockets.
Damn! I would have to find another way into the city.
Well, just a minor setback.
However I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being followed .....

As I arrived into the medieval old town of the capital of Lithuania, the sun had just set and the blue glow of twilight was mixing smoothly with the street lights and illuminated Our Lady of the Gate of Dawn, I checked directions to my Airbnb and thought to myself... 3G sucks in Vilnius #firstworldproblems #itraveltoomuch

The India Gate is the national monument of India. Situated in the heart of New Delhi, it was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens.
The monument is inspired by the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, which in turn is inspired by the Roman Arch of Titus. It was built in 1931. Originally known as the All India War Memorial, it is a prominent landmark in Delhi and commemorates the 90,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who lost their lives in World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. It is composed of red and pale sandstone and granite.
Originally, a statue of George V, Emperor of India stood under the now vacant canopy in front of the India Gate, but it was removed to Coronation Park together with a number of other British Raj-era statues. Following India's independence, the India Gate became the site of the Indian Army's Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, known as Amar Jawan Jyoti ("the flame of the immortal soldier").

It's hard to believe that this was the main street in Old Nottingham ... a stagecoach route between London and Leeds (up North). I was struck by the colourful appearance of the central building on the street.

The final line of defense of the Colony, the only settlement on the planet Hell somewhere on the edge of the universe. And only those three guys are to secure the gates. They are plankheads. And they carry big guns.
