Oh I wish! If I could get a tiny part of my garden to look anything like this I'd be a happy anorak!

 

Sculpture in the Garden exhbition - 2007. Leicester University Harold Martin Botanic Gardens

It takes much longer than I expect to build the waterfeatures walling. It consists of two walls separated by a 5 cm air gap. In this gap is a waterproof pond liner sandwhiched between two layers of geotextile( think underlay ) to stop any sharp bits of concrete piercing it. On the parts that you will not see I have cheated and use breeze blocks beacuse a) They are cheaper and b) It speeds up the process.

The listings for Melbourne Hall gardens include quite a few putti and cherubs on pedestals at various points around the Grand Basin. Frankly, I can't remember which is which of any of this bunch!
