Was playing with my lens over the summer and got this shot, this is pretty much what the photo looked like right out of the camera, no heavy photoshop, I like the effect.

This baby caribou was born about a week ago. It was running about near its momma and just too cute. Alaska Zoo in Anchorage, Alaska 4/3/08
Having a different type of fur, Coco is far fuzzier than Misty or Peaches ever were! So cute!
Her eyes are slowly changing color. In 3 weeks they have gone from bright blue to a sort of slate grey - not quite green, though there's a hint of green in them!

I LOVE the way this came out. The whole stretch of them glowing in the sunlight was great.

Some flowers like to mimic shapes of the ocean world. Aside from a sea anemone, it also reminds me of a sea urchin.
I took a photo of this for two reasons:
1. The way Amy positioned the binoculars.
2. The weird Robin Reliant-style jeep she ended up making.
This is a wider crop of the earlier shot. In that one, I wanted to present the intricate structure of these seed heads. Stepping back slightly (in Lightroom, that is), I'm struck by the overall shapes, the relative positions, and by the colors in the background.
