I really don't know which is the head and which is the tail .. I watched for a few minutes but he never moved .
IIRC, this is a Hickory Tussock Moth caterpillar, but I am not sure. Those fuzzy-looking feet are quite amusing to me. ;)
These are all over the beach area right now. Just like a dandelion seed head, only about the size of a tennis ball. They look absolutely wonderful when the sun is low.
Even though 40 and rainy, I headed up the mountain and was rewarded with this year's first wildflowers. These pasqueflowers should open tomorrow.
The Pasqueflower (Anemone patens) is the floral emblem for Manitoba and South Dakota. Anemone is from the Greek work "anemos", the wind, which employed flowers to herald its coming. Strong winds are found in pasqueflower habitat.

the little fruit globes are are not numerous but they are tasty. It's an Australian plant - I have it in a pot, but it sends out very long "stems" that bend over until they reach the ground, the they take root. I have to keep an eye on it or it'd be all over the place.

Tonight I feel a bit fuzzy. I'm cold, my teeth are rattling... Although I had other plans I think I'll turn in early tonight and have a real lazy weekend.
Our democracy has become fuzzy around the edges. Long exposure photo taken as a strong ocean breeze makes the flag wave.

This is Clancy. Like Winnie the Pooh, he is a bear of very little brain. He finally stopped wearing his Christmas sweater this week, but has decided my warm, fuzzy socks are just what he needs. They are a mile too big for him and the weather has been toasty, but he is not to be deterred!

This throw is so warm and soft! I like to lay it over my legs in the winter, it keeps them warm!
Lovely fresh raspberries - part of our breakfast this week! Those little "hairy" spikes are looking a little fuzzy to me ;-)
