I got some WM swag from my visit ... a nifty little trash can that I believe is intended as a pencil holder. Holden paired it with his trash truck (already existing in the "garage") for a full day of fantasy play, landfill-style.

The future is 1962 or 1992?
I ask this question because the Space Needle and Monorail system were created for the 1962 Worlds Fair to put Seattle on the map as a cosmopolitan city of the future showing the space age technology that built this city.
Or could it be the low fidelity, minimal, retro technology that powered the year 1992 when the local "grunge" bands of Seattle re ignited the music scene worldwide spearheaded by bands like Nirvana et al. Disillusioned with the rapidly tarnishing star that was Seattle of 1992, these bands decided to rub a little grease and dirt on the space age technology of days long gone and provided a new yet primitive angst filled voice that put Seattle back on the world wide map....
