Hello dear Flickr-friends!

I just wanted you to show my next doll projects. I have the dolls, I have new paint brushes and I will have some free time, so I´m ready to begin!

The Erica Kane doll will be Audrey from the sixties... I´m still not sure if it will be "how to steal a million" ot "Two for the road".

The Mattel Skipper will be princess Anne from "Roman Holiday", I thing the young Audrey had a very similar face mold..let´s see.

The Mattel Audrey doll will become Holly in the Moon River scene and Ariane from "Love in the afternoon".

The new Mattel Ariel will be Ariel in this particular scene and a Mackie Barbie will be Aurora in her blue gown.

I´m really looking forward to my new work!

To develop the UK-India relationship on few strategic themes such as ‘Future Cities’, Science and Innovation Network India organised a ‘UK-India future cities workshop’. The aim of the event was to bring together UK stakeholders in future cities research and innovation to create a network with the Indian side which we would use a basis for our new strategic relationship with India on cities. The workshop took place on 24-25 February 2014 at Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. Follow us on twitter @UKinIndia

Future Fires is an innovative programme designed to empower young artists by giving them the opportunity to design and deliver their own project with a community that they are part of or who they feel a special connection to.

The five young artists involved in the pilot project in 2008 were responsible for every aspect of their projects from fundraising to outreach – they underwent training, research trips and mentoring to develop the skills they needed in order to make their projects a success.

The five projects were totally different working with a number of different communities including young people at risk, refugees, female asylum seekers, elderly people and young people using everything from spoken word, carnival, film and hip-hop to create work, share stories and learn new skills.

The artists involved in the first year of the scheme were:

Samira Arhin-Acquah; age 23, spoken word and hip hop artist. At Contact she has been a member of Contact Young Actors Company, and was a performer-writer in Contact’s spoken word theatre production ‘I Hear Voices’. She was recently co-facilitator of Contact & QueerUpNorth’s queer Hip Hop project ‘Beyond the Box’.

Borhan Mohammedi; age 21, performer and director. Borhan is a Kurdish-Iranian refugee, who has been in Manchester since 2001. At Contact he has been a member of Contact Young Actors Company; he has trained as facilitator of the Drama Drop In programme and worked on the artistic team for the Arts United project which Contact ran for young refugees. Recently he was Assistant Director on the CYAC show Close Up and took part in the director training scheme ‘Live and Direct’.

Kelly Morgan; age 19, performer and choreographer. At Contact she has been a member of Contact Young Actors Company and has also worked as an assistant facilitator on Drama Drop In and as a choreographer on a range of projects.

Martin Stannage; age 22, writer and performer. Martin is experienced as a writer, spoken word artist and performer. At Contact he has been a Young Writer in Residence. He is one of the leaders of ‘Freestyle Mondays’ an informal weekly open session for local MCs and was a performer-writer in ‘I Hear Voices’. He also has experience as a youth worker.

Yusra Warsama; age 23. At Contact she has been part of Contact Young Actors Company, and has developed as a spoken word artist, recently touring with Apples and Snakes. Yusra was Assistant Director on CYAC show FreeFlow and is currently part of the Incubate programme.

My favorite photo, out of all I took on this trip.

I like the expression on the guitarist/singer, the absorbedness of the drummer, the kid peeking from behind the pole, the blue of the mural in the background...

Lace, bedazzled full body stocking with cloven hoof heels

This appeared one day on a roundabout near my house. At first I thought it was a half completed construction project, but what kind of structure would have bent steel gurders, maybe vandals have been at it who knows.

As time went by it did'nt change, I thought they must have run out of money, then a little garden appeared under it and then I thought what the heck is that, its a piece of public art !

I was driving with my dad one day and I pointed it out, I said look wot councils built on our roundabout, and he told me what its supposed to be, its meant to represent sheeves of corn in a field, the penny dropped.

Then driving past today I had an epiphany I could see the true purpose of the art. It was a vision of the future.

Metal sheeves of corn reaping a harvest from the wind....a wind farm.

Now I think its awesome, credit to the artist, they created a vision and a prophecy of the future. VAWT ( Vertical Axis Wind Turbines ) on the top of every lamppost reaping a new harvest from the wind.

This is an awesome idea, we have 7 million tall strong lampposts in Britain and a small VAWT on top of every one would go along way to meeting our future energy needs.

It makes perfect sense, we already have the structures, they are already wired up to the mains and they are situated close to urban areas where the electricity will be used. People can drive along the road and see these little fellas working for them, helping to power and heat there homes.

Who said art cant be useful and inspiring. Just a little suggestion though to future artists planning projects in Yorkshire, put a placade on it, so we have some idea what its supposed to be, and we dont return to default conclusions, that the councils has wasted our money yet again :)

⋆☽ I release those things that no longer serve me.

⋆☽ I allow those parts of me that are unhealthy and toxic to die, to fall away and no longer be a part of me.

⋆☽ I open myself up to new wisdom and follow it with my heart and not my head.

⋆☽ I look toward the future, and embrace that which is awakening.

One day while watching my future unfold on Spaceship Earth, I noticed how, at certain points, I could see a line of video screens going off into the distance. I decided that this would make an interesting photo. Here is my first attempt at capturing that view. It obviously has room for improvement, so I'll try again on my next trip.
