More images from the Silent Pool and Sherbourne lake, on the Albury Estate near Guildford.
Taken on a miserable rainy day from under an umbrella with a full spectrum converted Lumix DMC-GF3 fitted with a 590nm infrared filter on the lens.
The lakes were flowing through heavily with the amount of water coming off the surrounding land.
My day was lifted just by seeing the full spectrum of light suddenly appear as I was pressing on with the decorating duties.
I was Going to do a Time Lapse / Panorama of the Organ Pipes (Organ Mountains)... But. I fell asleep, on the first set. This one is looking south. Clearly the Pipes are not featured in this photo, :( But, Orion is visible in the upper Left Third.

Just a simple snapshot, I presume the framing etc. makes this very apparent. I was on a long hike on the weekend, super hot, I only carried IR gear (for panoramas).
This was already on my way back / down, I snapped a few single frames. It amazes me how defined the transition between light and shadow due to cloud coverage sometimes is, it's just a few meters that divide full sunshine and proper overcast! I guess it helps being on a mountain, but I've seen this in the valley too at times.
It was nice to see the cattle so peaceful, just chilling in the sun / wind in the afternoon next to the pond with light and shadow moving over everything, some were even nodding. But they are also feisty up there, when cows feel the need to protect their calfs, they will do so!, but it's usually enough to keep an eye on that to avoid situations. Usually tourists that get whopped unfortunately.

Parish hall in half-timbered style. Just a first shot with my broadband converted Pentax K-r and 18-55 kit lens @ 20mm. A lot of people think it is a good lens for infrared photography. For my copy this is not true, most pics have softness effects and sometimes halos.

In Anlehnung an die Reihe "Ansichten eines Waldläufers" von Havlard werde ich hiermit versuchen meine täglichen Erlebnisse auf dem Arbeitsweg entlang des Bahndamms regelmäßig festzuhalten.
Den Auftakt macht ein Full-Spectrum Bild mittels DIY-Tilt-Objektiv.

I was testing the LEICA DG MACRO-ELMARIT 45/F2.8 here, to see how it focuses/white-balances with the full-spectrum GX1.
Focus worked well. Colors/White Balance need some adjustments in PP, despite using the Seculine Vivicap for initial calibration.
Overall the lens works very well with the Lumix GX1.
