I love the way the new growth on trees starts out so delicate and looks like a frosting of color!

Haven't posted anything in a really long time. But I went for a walk yesterday with my camera. Winter storm went through and left a lovely coating of snow and frozen fog on the trees. Such a beautiful view.

I had to practice patience to get this shot; I ventured out to the garden three times this morning to check the lighting.
The world frosted over last night and I knew this morning that if the sun were to come out it would be too pretty to pass up.
The sun took forever, but it was worth the wait. I think this turned out quite nicely, so thank you to Mother Nature for helping me out; and thank you to Gord for not mulching the garden in the fall.
Hope everyone has had a good day.
