Looks like Matthew likes the frosting.

it has snowed all day, we only have afew heavy wet inches here but up on the hill there is a LOT more snow.

so... before bed I had to play with learning about tripods a little more.

They're like chocolate chip cookies with nuts. Except the nuts are made out of bacon.

I'm trying not to include the floor in this picture because I spilled cat food all over setting up a chair to stand on to take the picture.

This is attributed to be the author's "world-famous piece."

Cupcake with frosting, bits of chocolate on top

We tried the new neon food coloring drops and the kids were pretty happy with the colors. I still like using the paste food coloring best though. December, 2005, St. Paul, Minnesota

Vanilla Cupcakes mit Weiße Schokolade Frischkäse Frosting / Vanilla cupcakes with white chocolate cream cheese frosting

Adapted slightly from Alice Medrich's Sinfully Easy Delicious Desserts. If you're a vanilla lover, this is for you! If using this on a vanilla cake, try adding a pinch of nutmeg to the mixture for an extra bit of dimension.

Super Vanilla Frosting

"Stop it! I know I'm only eating the frosting," she says. I love this little annoyed look and she did not like being questioned about eating only the frosting from the cake. "Well of course I only eat the frosting!"

Making cinnamon rolls has become a weekly thing. Something E does on their own. Always making just one with more frosting which is their first to snag and eat.

Had some nice fog settle over the city for the last couple of days so had to come out to try to capture some scenery. Missed my chance the last time fog stayed around for a few days.

♥ I think the cream satin trimming on this corset is so yummy... just like frosting!

This is about when the feller arrived and was almost the cause of a complete breakdown. The 2nd frosting fail in 24 hours.

Frosting some better looking cookies (better looking than the unusually thick seafoam green batch of cookies I'd made just before these).

30 pound buckets of frosting waiting for cakes. The frosting is best to use when it has set over night for better uses. Easier to spread when some of the air deflates out of it due to the whipping process.

My friend Vickie was celebrating her birthday and her sis made a homemade cake for the occasion. It was damn good, too!

I'm posting this recipe because while on a search for a coffee buttercream recipe, a simple one WITHOUT egg whites, a simple one that was NOT a SMBC, I could not find one! So here is just a simple regular coffee-flavored buttercream that anyone can make.

Craft project 3 was sugar skulls!

The conference was hosted in Southern California at the end of October near the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertes or Day of the Dead. This is the time of year families remember their loved ones and make offerings and altars with sugar skulls, marigolds and bits of shiny objects.

Henna Caravan lives in an area that is rich in Mexican heritage and culture so we decided to share this holiday with the conference.

Kendra made all the sugar skulls by hand. But the ladies had to help roll dozens and dozens of cones of bright colored frosting to decorate the sugar skulls.

The motifs and patterns caught on through out the weekend and Debi and Kim are now in full fledged warfare and sugar skull inspiration! rock on girls!
