The Rocky Mountains are a major mountain range in western North America, stretching more than 3,000 miles (4,800 km) from the northernmost part of British Columbia, in western Canada, to New Mexico, in the southwestern United States.
A composite of two of my images; the front range mountains and a Kingbird from the Rocky Mountain Arsenal.
An alpine lake located just east of the Continental Divide on Trail Ridge Road. It's called a "dead lake". Fish can't survive in it because it freezes completely during the winter.
