I've been enjoying the FA Cup live on my new plasma tv. Particularly good are the anguished looking faces of Arsenal fans as they are losing to Leeds United. Very funny, I always enjoy the distraught looking cutaways of anguished fans, especially foolishly arrogant ones like Arsenal or Chelsea or the ludicrous Man Utd. Unfortunately there appeared to be a fix and Arse were saved by a last minute penalty the ref seemed determined to give.

During this time the sun really streamed in from the back window and so I took this self portrait.

Ok, I know it's really late but sorry! Wanna come in? :D

The owner asked me to recreate this shot which had been on the brochure when he first bought the house. Guess he thinks, "It worked for me,soooo...." (There were no flowers in the original and the interior was as dark as a cave).

Sea, sky and foreground pavers masked in from underlying darker exposure. Flower saturation boosted

2 low power SB's inside, one on a stand CR tucked into a doorway, one further inside CL. Both ceiling bounces. (A good case for umbrellas, but those flares COULD be ceiling lights...if you squint)

Buss route, IXpress 200 and bus 9, five minutes to get DC center of University of Waterloo or Connestoga mall. 15 minute walk to UW.

This is what our front door looked like on our wedding day. We hung the heart wreath, but my mother (and sister) brought the flowers!

From the other side, they're the entrance doors.

The trim is in place and the varnish is on. Project Front Door is complete!

Week2: my front door.

My husband and I actually rent someone's basement out for our apartment. I had an interesting time deciding which door to take a picture of; the actual front door or our front door. While our front door is a little boring, I chose it to play with the lines and slight textures even if it is a bit monochromatic. I hope you like it!
