my ode to O'holy sweet!!!
the origional by o'holy sweet was emailed to me by a client from the UK flying in for his wedding to the goldcoast i have always loved this cake so was soooo excited to replicate it!! it is a6" and 8" tiers in fondant painted in pink lustre the bride and grooms names (Akie and Paul) were embossed on the front and the cherry blossom tree is in choclate fondant and pink coloured fondant brushed with lustre, pink dregrees agged for a bit o'bling. groom was so happy he rang me at 7am the mornign after the wedding!!!!

This view of the "new" front entrance was started in 1840 and finally completed in 1845. It opens onto a beautifully designed formal front garden.
The light here is perfect for film photography, and my vintage 1952 Leica IIf handles the conditions superbly. The camera is completely mechanical and all light metering was done externally with my Sekonic light meter.

You can see why, in the past, the Double -barred Finch was sometimes referred to as the "Owl Finch". The white face, outlined with black, slightly resembled a little Barn Owl. They were also called Bicheno's Finch.

Ok, so I'm officially NOT saying this is the final shot from last weekend's shoot at the crazy house. All week I've been posting bits and parts of things I found in my exploration of the creepy backyard full of stuff but this is one of the few full scene pics I took. This front porch belongs to a little grey shed, mid lawn packed floor to ceiling with lights and chandeliers. (like I said...crazy)

White-fronted Chats are typically found in open habitats with low vegetation, particularly coastal saltmarshes & saltbush plains. Classified as insectivorous, its diet consists mainly of small invertebrates like beetles, flies, & midges, which it actively hunts by running along the ground. During the breeding season (typically August to January), both parents work tirelessly to catch these protein-rich insects to feed their nestlings, ensuring the rapid development of their chicks before they fledge.
Sri Lanka - Sinharaja Forest Reserve - The yellow-fronted barbet (Psilopogon flavifrons) is an Asian barbet which is an endemic resident breeder in Sri Lanka. The barbets get their name from the bristles which fringe their heavy bills.
This is a medium-sized barbet at 21 cm. It is a plump bird, with a short neck, large head and short tail. The adult yellow-fronted barbet has a mainly green body and wing plumage, with a scaly appearance to the breast. It has a blue face and throat, and a yellow crown and moustachial stripes. (Wikipedia)
