Ok, so I'm officially NOT saying this is the final shot from last weekend's shoot at the crazy house. All week I've been posting bits and parts of things I found in my exploration of the creepy backyard full of stuff but this is one of the few full scene pics I took. This front porch belongs to a little grey shed, mid lawn packed floor to ceiling with lights and chandeliers. (like I said...crazy)

Dawn in Lariimer County, Colorado. I snuck out of the house early one morning while visiting recently and enjoyed a drive on nearby country roads.

The Kaigeru have powerful front legs with large, armoured shoulders in order to protect themselves from frontal attacks.

A front passes over the Creste Butte area bringing heavy rain over the wild-flower covered terrain. It was nice to finally be able to get out and capture some landscape views.

First Day in Service VIDEO coming at 4pm on my channel

VH45221 - BF67GKX begins the overtake on VH45233 (BF67GKZ) at Euston on London United first day operating TFL London Bus Route 18.

Previously, this route was operated by Metroline from Willesden Junction. The route now operates from RATP group's Park Royal bus garage (the old Tower Transit Atlas Road garage) which has been bought on a 10 year lease with the old garage closing down. The buses used on the route include new Volvo Wright Gemini 3 Hybrid Diesel Double Decker Buses (VHs) as well as existing VHs from Edgware and Tolworth as well Alexander Dennis Enviro400’s (ADEs).

It was an eventful day with buses being curtailed due to works in Wembley and some buses were running without IBUS which was being sorted at Euston. Blind Change video coming soon!!

White-fronted Chats are typically found in open habitats with low vegetation, particularly coastal saltmarshes & saltbush plains. Classified as insectivorous, its diet consists mainly of small invertebrates like beetles, flies, & midges, which it actively hunts by running along the ground. During the breeding season (typically August to January), both parents work tirelessly to catch these protein-rich insects to feed their nestlings, ensuring the rapid development of their chicks before they fledge.

This is the first picture.....

I was lucky enough to have a few of them fly around my spot just after a swamp harrier appeared in the distance and they seemed to be disturbed from the harrier like all the other birds and presented themselves with a few passes giving the opportunity to get a few sequences. One of my favourite birds so i got as many photo's as i could in that short period. They are very fast, small and are a great challenge to capture in flight.

A cold front approaches over Sydney in this stitched panorama.

Black-fronted nunbird - Monasa nigrifrons, Wikipedia describes this species in the following manner, "a species of near-passerine bird in the family Bucconidae, the puffbirds, nunlets, and nunbirds." By which I guess they mean it can nearly sing,,,, sounds like a lot of the acts in the charts these days.

P.S. The white-fronted nunbird, looks alot more like a nun.

Mondays are always tough, right? Another fun weekend is behind us and now it’s time to go back to the usuall routine. This is the vantage point we just discovered. What do you think?

A specialist of the open Mallee paddocks, the White-fronted Chat is a methodical ground-hunter, favouring a brisk, walking gait over the typical hop of other small birds. They patrol the low saltbush & dry earth, flushing out insects & spiders hidden within the sparse vegetation. While the flock is preoccupied with the hunt, a vigilant male will often take up a sentry position. From this vantage point, he keeps a sharp watch over the open terrain, his presence ensuring the group can forage in safety across the exposed landscape.

Front Detailing on the Scenic River Road House is some of the finest I have ever seen. This processing makes it look "better" than the condition it is now((there is plenty of paint peel,a blue tarp on the roof, etc.),but this was a true showcase in its day.I would love to know the history and why this wonderful place was left to rot away....

The Peach-fronted Parakeet was one of several parakeet species that we observed during our visit to the Pantanal. I ran across this one on my way to breakfast and I was so entertained watching it have its meal that I pretty much missed my meal.

Front door to the preserved home which was the birthplace of John Adams who would become one of the Founding Fathers, patriot, signer to the Declaration of Independence, the first U.S. Vice-President and second President. Today it is part of the Adams National Historic Park in Quincy, MA.

John continued living here after marrying Abigail, their farmland surrounding this area near the foot of Penn's Hill. It is said that Abigail walked up Penn's Hill with her young son, John Quincy, to watch the burning of Charlestown after the Battle of Bunker Hill, June 17, 1775. And of even greater significance, in present day this house is just a block down the street from the Dunkin Donuts where I regularly purchase a coffee ;-)
