A basketball goal at the park in rural Valeene, Indiana. The sun was trying to be harsh, but I got around it.

Just wanted to get a little different angle on it, and I was pleased with the way this turned out.

BALI, INDONESIA - DECEMBER 26, 2017: Man having fun on the swing with action camera in the jungle of Bali island, Indonesia. Rainforest, swing.

Rising incongruously near the Pembrokeshire coastal path between Newgale and Nolton Haven, this chimney is a remnant from the Trefrane colliery. Apparently the colliery provided high-quality anthracite for Queen Victoria.

This looks like a land form and island...

See notes, of course... (Left edge)

Against a heavily polarised sky, the sunlit bow of Pontypridd's Unity sculpture is looking resplendent following a recent repaint.

The sculpture was designed by Andy Hazell and installed in 2009. It represents three iconic parts of Pontypridd's history. First, the depiction of the old bridge, engineered in 1756 by William Edwards. Second, the railway - once Pontypridd had one of the longest railway platforms in the country and was one of the busiest as coal ("black gold") was transported down to the sea from the many collieries to the north of Pontypridd. Third, the bow of the ship represents both the coal that fuelled the naval fleet and the Brown Lenox chainworks which stood nearby, and supplied chains to Isambard Kingdom Brunel and others.

Тhe very same backyard I told you about is just as overwhelming from below as it is from above.. The place gets rarely visited by anyone, although, I am sure visitors leave a fraction of themselves to keep this nothingness from collapsing on itself.

The quite particular roof of the Sony Center, near the Postdamer Platz in Berlin, is quite newly built and has an innovative yet interesting architecture that's worth being seen!

I love the overlapping repeating pattern of the leaves.

Firenze keeps becoming worse, the Campanile di Giotto sees it all from above standing firm right next to the Duomo.

My little daredevil climbing up the big kids ladder at the park. I picked up a little 35mm DX lens for a friend of mine (it was an awesome deal I didn't want him to miss out so I picked it up and he'll be buying it off of me for what I paid), well I decided to have some fun with the DX lens on my D700 and this shot makes me want to keep it (I don't think my 35mm f/2 looks this good).
