Frogs are now becoming a fixture in the Lloyds wildlife nature garden.
The pond has quite a few residents now.
Vince is keeping tabs every night.
February 25, 2017 was not a “Big” Night, but it was certainly notable. On this night, a small frog migration took place in Keene, NH -- a full two weeks earlier than our next earliest migration in eleven years of keeping track (March 9, 2016), and three weeks earlier than the next earliest migration after that (March 16, 2012). Historically, the vast majority of our migrations have not taken place until April. We’re in a whole new world here.
This is one of 15 wood frogs moved across North Lincoln Street in Keene on the evening of February 25.

This guy was however more patient. If you look close enough at the eye, you see a reflection of me!
Anyone know what type of frog this could possibly be??
Oldish. This little cutie lived in my little brother's pool during the summer. My little brother is holding him. He's six-years-old (to give you an idea of how small the frog really is).

We were out after the storms picking up the tree limbs and the kids wanted to make sure Kermit Michael was okay... it appears is still with us!
