Here is a photo of "my" Green Frog. Technically I have no ownership of this living creature, but I tend to use that word to describe it. It lives in my small pond & stream. This Green Frog tends to stay in and around the stream while "my" Bull Frog sticks around the pond. I really like the coloration on its face. The red plants are called Fairy Moss, and freely float around the pond until fish find it. Most of the time I can find it in this exact spot. Its pretty cool to be able to look out my bedroom window and see a couple of frogs and goldfish.
He (?) was calling like crazy. Then every now and then he'd have to take a breather (sorry!) and fill up with air again. Florence County, South Carolina. I think this is a green tree-frog. Hyla.
Spotted litter frog (Leptobrachium hendricksoni) (?). They seemed shy and would stay closer and closer to the floor with every shot you take! Before long, they were practically lying flat on the floor . Selangor, Malaysia.

I found a little frog on the side of the spar bath so I put him back in the garden after crawling around on my head in Darwin Australia
The green frog is often confused with her more famous cousin, the bullfrog. To advertise her uniqueness, she runs her dorsolateral skin folds all the way down her back, instead of clipping them short at the ear.

At the Canadian Museum of Nature, you can see many living plants and animals, like this tree frog. In the Animalium section there are many varieties of frogs kept and cared for in glass-paned cubicles filled with plants from their natural habitats. Many of the frogs are well camouflaged and your eyes may need to search the space before you realize a frog is sitting there in plain sight.

I noticed this baby frog in the grass alongside the stream. It was tiny - just a few centimetres, and once I'd seen this one I could see lots of others all hoping though the grass. I had to tread carefully on the way back!
This was another reversed lens macro with my Canon 50mm, set to about f/11 and with pop-up flash.
