This little frog (it's about an inch long) was crossing the road as I was on my way home the other night.

Frog at the dentist's office

I found this frog or toad in the garden at night time shortly after it had rained .

This lives in the pond in my garden

One of several frogs living in the garden, this one likes to sit and watch the world go by.

I've never seen him do anything but loaf about, still he looks healthy, so he must be eating something!

Frog in the veranda.

I spotted this little guy in the pond in our back garden today. Unfortunately the pond has wire across the top that was hard to take photos thru' and this was the best I managed. I liked the plant on his face; I got the feeling he thought I couldn't see him through it ;)

London Zoo is the oldest zoo in the world. Not the greatest of photos as wild animals tend to do just what they want and some just hide away lol. A good trip though :-)

***If you know what kind of frog this is, please let me know!***

I like that her/his shoes/feet match the skin....

Frog in a mud puddle.

This frog was in a pond to complement an explanation of the importance of frogs and their worldwide decline. Unusually for the zoo, there was no information about the frog species on display.

I love these little guys. Yes, these are two different frogs. One is bigger than the other.

A Gray (or possibly Cade's) Tree Frog hides on a rock at Tywappity Lake in Chaffee Missouri.

A frog in my garden pond (an old Belfast sink), Bradford, summer 2009.

This frog is known as a waxy something-or-other frog. Stands to reason, given the waxy-looking drops on its skin.

This little toad seemed really confused. I think he wanted to know if I was coming or going so that he could go the other way. Sure the neighbors got a kick out of seeing me laying on my stomach in the middle of the driveway trying to get on the same level as the toad.

Our Daily Challenge - Coming Or Going

This frog was sleeping on this water plant as we were crossing the lake by canoe. As such it wasn't easy to get a decent photo, so I am pleased with the result.

Help with ID would be welcome. I learnt in Costa Rica that even brightly coloured frogs can look plain when asleep, so ID may be difficult.

Apparently fairly common and widespread.

Green - the colour seems right for a frog.

Amphibians of the Fraser Valley. Introduced/invasive bullfrogs probably

I found this frog at the front of our house whilst doing the gardening and I just couldn't resist taking a few portraits... Handsome fellow aye?!

I took this while waiting in a carpark to pick someone up...It was just resting in the fence.

This Southern Leopard Frog (Rana sphenocephala) frequently visits our barrel pond in the backyard. I'm hoping that we'll find some tadpoles in there one day. Photographed with a Canon EOS 7D and a Sigma 150mm Macro Lens and a Sigma EM-140 DG Ring Flash.
